This mic is great! Good quality and nice noise rejection. I wish it had an on/off switch but it doesn't make it any less awesome.

I use this boom microphone for films, documentaries, and special events. This microphone catches everything in front of it and nothing behind it, which is great. It's also very light.

This was a great buy for the price. The only thing I don't like is that it is really sensitive to the wind. There was an extremely light breeze--almost unnoticeable--but it kept distorting the audio.

I love this mic. I've been using it for many years and when I did a side-by-side comparison to the 416 i couldn't tell a difference. Save a ton a money and get this mic

We use it primarily on canon xf100 video cam to record toasts or other speeches where lavalier mic is not an option and this mic delivers.
