We used this mic for a short video. It worked really well picking up a variety of voices and sounds. It is light weight and easy to use. For the price, the sound quality was exceptional. It would be nice to have a few more attachment options for greater ease when using it without a mic stand.

Inexpensive yet good quality mic. You can pay a lot more but not a lot of people will be able to tell the difference in audio quality between this and much more expensive short shotgun mics. We are very pleased.

Using this with my Canon XA10. Perfect length for the XA10. Stays out of the shot. I just bought it, so I have not been able to put it through the grind (that's why I'm rating it 4 stars for now). But after some basic tests, I have not had any issues with sound quality.

Im a big fan! So far it has worked great and I have had no issues. I like that it works great on a mic stand in my studio setup but is also small enough to mount to my camera and work out in the field as well.

I use the mic on my Canon XA-20. The sound quality is excellent. While it does not remove all of the background noise, it removes 90% of it. Although it did not come with a cord, I was able to find a short 3 at B&H. I highly recommend this mic.

Excellent rejection of ambient noise; captures clear sound that requires minimal tweaking in post;excellent for handheld video shoots at events, ENG, EFP, etc. Solid construction that feels like quality... because it is.

I've used this microphone to record talent interviews from about 5 ft away. Very clean! I'm powering phantom power from my tascam dr60mkII with no problems.

Best lightweight mic for small Panasonic GH4 rig. Using a Beachtek DXA-HDV XLR adapter that supplies phantom power. Sound is surprisingly loud and picks up everything with low noise - love it.

We use these mics in a performance studio to capture conversations between performances. We also use them in the field to capture natural sound. They are light and easy to carry.

Bought this to have a compact scratch audio setup for my camera. Also, doubles as a very compact interview setup. Simple to use, no buttons or battery. Great frequency response.

I research a number of mice for my DSLR and settled on the AT875 rather than the Rode Videomic Pro mainly because of the XLR connector. I'm very happy with the sound quality and size.

An incredible surprise. For its price I was expecting less quality, both on hardware and audio quality. Incrdible how this mic is cheap and SO professional.

It's not the top of the line, but for a consumer who's previous microphone was the ATR-6550, this is a huge improvement. Audio was crisp and much easier to edit in post.
