The Bose QC 25 headphones are really lightweight and compact. After a week and a half of use, mainly on airplanes, I am very satisfied with my purchase. bose quiet comfort headphones
I didn't hold out much for these headphones but decided to give them a try, what a revalation? they are actually marvelous ...the best I've tried, .... and I've tried quite a few. I wouldn't be without them on any journey I have to make in the future! Argos delivered them promptly and on time. Great service!

6 months in and they are falling apart
Casual home use, great sound quality but build quality is terrible for their price. Ear cushion has already split.

This can't be safe for your hearing.
I bought these and took them on the noisy A Train in NYC and was able to listen to an opera. It was remarkable how well they blocked out ambient noise! BUT... And this is why I returned them, the sensation of wearing these is extremely odd. I felt too much pressure on my ear drums, like I was under water. Sharp looking and even sharper sounding
These headphones look sharp with the all black color scheme. They fit great and are comfortable for long flights. The sound is phenomenal and definitely lessens my stress levels on flights. I have a slight bigger than average head but the headphones still fit great.

Possibly the best pair of headphones I ever bought
They come in a nifty semi hard pouch that makes me feel confident about their safety for traveling. They are incredibly comfortable. The sensation of turning on the noise canceling is quite spectacular, completely killing the basy sounds of the surrounding and significantly reducing the high tones. I wish they would be a little bit louder. Battery life is quite great, shame they don't have a auto off function. Sound quality is very good, neutral character. Simply the best headphones I ever had

Something else.
These head phones are something else. Really comfortable so you can where them for hours with no problem and the sound quality is outstanding. Yes, they are a bit pricey but well worth it.

Spectacular
Pricey? Yes. Noise Cancellation? Excellent. While you may hear some background noise without anything playing, once you turn on some audio, the background disappears. Other headphones you have to turn up the music even with noise cancellation on. The bandwidth and audio response is phenomenal. I used them on a flight and they were still comfortable after 4 hours. The JBL noise cancelling headphones that I bought my wife a few years back are now inadequate for her. Time for a second pair. Bottom line is that I am happy that I invested in them

FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY PRESENT
Purchased these earphones for my husbands 70th birthday - we travel a lot rail and aircraft. The noise reduction feature is terrific and my husband is over the moon. The sound is great quality and he finds them extremely comfortable. It is great we can wipe the leather ear pads down as well. All in all well worth the money. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product

Excellent update to the QC15s
Beacause of the combination of compact size both packed and deployed on your head, AAA battery life (and a convenient slot for a spare in the case), superb sound suppression, and fit - these are a winner. Most Expensive, Least Reliable of Nine Bose Products
With nine Bose purchases under my belt over the past ten years, I have had great performance and reliability with all of themexcept the most expensive onethe QC25. Very effective noise cancelling
These headphones are very effective at cancelling out noise. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because wearing them for long periods can make your ears feel warm.

Great headphone for sir travel
I bought these for my wife so she could enjoy air travel a bit more. On our first trip she said they made a world of difference. I got to try them and compare with another brand that I have and they were superior in both comfort and noise suppression. I will buy another pair for myself once I am ready to replace mine.

Not as good as the old QC headphones
I owned a set of Quiet Comfort II headphones for about 10 years until they packed up recently. So thought I'd buy the latest version. The noise reduction has improved. However, sadly, the sound quality is not as good as on the old Bose headphones (which was terrific). Also the old set could be used on large hi-fi system at home, but these can only be used on small/mobile devices. Disappointed.

Good Improvements to an Already Great Product
I gave my older model Bose Comfort Headphones to my son, and treated myself to the updated Comfort 25 model. Improved design makes the headphones more compact for traveling, and the noise cancellation remains the best in class. Yes, a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. Excellent for air travel, if your interested in drowning out obnoxious cabin noise.

super light, comfortable and tune out the neighbors on their patio, and barking dogs. keep em right in the night table and pop the light small aaa battery in when I need them. I don't use them for music but for pure silence. wonderful

Gotta Spend the Dough
Wirecutter recommends these but they were so pricey I tried the budget recommendation Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7B QuietPoint Active Noise Cancelling Headphones. They were not comfortable. If you have a small head you might be able to use the ATH-ANC7B but they were not good for me and I returned them.The Bose are very comfortable and the sound quality is very good for this type of headphones. I wish there was something in-between $ and $ that were decent and comfortable but I couldn't find them.
