Worth the money
I use these to keep me focused while studying. They are very comfortable and I would recommend them to a friend.

Bose QC 25 headphones
Sound quality very good, works to reduce background noise even without listening to music, so ideal for open plan office working to to dull background noise! Very high quality product, packaged well with clear instructions. You definitely get what you pay for, but not five stars as still very expensive for a pair of high end NC headphones.

Durability Issues ......
The sound quality was good and the noise cancellation was good.....but it is most surprising that a headphone with the Bose brand on it at a premium price just broke into pieces after 3 years of use. First crack and breakage at the extension point on the head. and then the whole ear cup just broke off where it can twist. Love These!
I had been thnking about noise cancelling headphones ever since a trip to Hawaii. I decided to splrge and bought these for my birthday gift to myself....a few days later I tested them on a flight home where my seat was about one foot from an engine...could hardly hear it!! Yea!! I will get a lot of use from these as I also plan to use them while mowing my lawn and snow blowing my driveway!! Best gift to myself EVER! The saleman at B&H was most helpful and showed me other less costly models but I'm glad I went with the best.

Felt like I was at the Opera.
My husband and I moved to Italy recently, so there is the opera reference. Anyway, I sound quality is amazing. Once they our on you feel as if you've been whisked away to a concert without a care in the world. Beautiful engineering.

These are great
I bought these mainly for being able to sit and read a book and not have to listen to the TV in the next room. They work great. I have peace while reading my book and the others can have their TV watch time. I also like the over the ear style, my ears don't get cramped from wearing them.

Great Acoustics and Noise Cancelling
The QuietComfort 25 headphones are the best quality noise cancelling I have used. The over the ear headphones are very light weight and comfortable to wear. The sound quality is very good.

Noise cancelling just got better
I got these during Christmas 2015 for $(no tax and free one day shipping). I've had the Bose QC15 for almost 4yrs. Only recently has it shown its age and I wasn't sure if I wanted the QC25 as a replacement. Yes, the volume level/output on these aren't over the roof but that's not what im looking for. Great Headphones
I use this on my computers most of the time and rarely used on IOS devices. It uses the AAA battery for noise cancelling. And without that feature on, the sound won't be as good.

Great Purchase

Excellent sound.
I was skeptical as to weather the cost would justify the experience. I had skull candy previously which I was very satisfied with. There really is no comparison. Sound depth and detail is incredible. You can hear music you have never experienced in songs before. Noise cancellation is a bonus. All ambiance sound diminished or eliminated completely.

Excellent Sound, Excellent Comfort
I've tried Sol Republic Master Tracks and Beats Studio 2 and while those also sound great, they lack in comfort when wearing for several hours (e.g. travelling). The Bose QC25 have the excellent sound you expect from Bose and they are beyond comfortable. The noise cancelling is top notch as well!

Exactly what expected
I purchased the headphones for programming and concentrating on noise environments. Noise canceling is great. Even people talking and discussing something in the same room almost disappear. With a bit music it's totally disconnect you from environment sounds. Very good design. The cons. are:need to disconnect the cable to put them in the case.

Great headphone for traveling
I used these for traveling. They are compact enough to easlly carry. They are comfortable to wear and work great. They block noise and make my flying more enjoyable.

This product is awesome!
Although pricey, its a great product. I used it for the first time while taking a flight last week. The noise cancelling feature was unreal. I watched a movie and the sound was so clear I forgot I was on an airplane. Didn't realize how awesome it was until I took off the headphones and heard the blazing loud engine.

Great for Open Offices
I work in a noisy open office environment where the noise and conversations can raise to a level that makes it hard to focus. These headphones are great at keeping out the background noise, and also do a nice job of clear, deep sound. They're comfortable on the ears, and I don't really have a single bad thing to say about them. Very happy.

Perfect noise cancellation.
Amazing for subway, buses or plane. Audio quality of headphone in a non-noisy environment is strong. But if you're looking for something with great bass for hip-hop I'd suggest a different headphone.

poor quality
I purchased my headphones late last year. Recently, the right side of the headphones has intermittently lost it's ability to cancel noise has an accompanying clicking noise. I'm very disappointed in the quality of these headphones. Of course, this is just past the very short 1-year warranty period. Bose charges far too much money for its products to have this level of quality. I was planning to order headphones for my wife, but neither I nor my wife will ever buy your products again. They are overpriced and of poor quality. Additionally, your warranty period is inexcusable.

Another positive review
I'm very happy with these headphones but I must say that the quality of the sound with the noise cancellation activated is much better then when it's not activated. If they could figure a way to produce quality with and without power these head phones would be perfect. They are extremely comfortable though you really notice it when traveling long distances.

Incredible product
I've long enjoyed music and the benefits of headphones but have never owned a pair of noise cancelers. I can tell you they take the listening experience to another level. As soon as you put them on you feel encapsulated by them and even without any music playing the isolation from external sounds is phenomenal.

Defective in 34 days
Move my head with them on and the sound cancellation clicks on and off - switch is not moving but the internal electronics is going on and off - ridiculous - 34 days after purchase. Bose charges $ just to send them back for warranty replacement - this for a $ product ? It's absurd.
