Google home mini
Would recomend getting the full size Google Home if you are able to do so - the sound quality in the larger one is much better but we bought this mini to work in conjunction with the larger one and works well.

Pretty cool
Great product idea and gives lot's of information, especially good for reminders, but gave 4 stars as is a bit temperamental with voice recognition and doesn't know enough information, also gives some wrong dates of events etc compared to Siri, although I'm not a Siri fan.

Fantastic *new* tech
Th3 googl3.home mini is a fantastic investment if you're into technology. However it is still quite fresh out of the pan. The features it has like setting alarms, reminders and asking general questions , are great and seamless. However you will find yourself sometimes asking yourself: "Why doesnt this certain feature exist yet" however don't let that set you back from all the things it does have.

Great
I have had GH MINI for quite a while now. It's really good with some very good sound quality for the size of the speaker. The only downside is sometimes the device doesn't always hear you and you might have to talk a lot louder or shout at it, this happens more when you ask it to play music and it doesn't always pick up your voice. Don't forget you can use IFTT and ask Google Home to do more.

Good sound if you already subscribe to Spotify etc
An okay gadget for the price but ultimately disappointing. If all you want is to listen to Spotify and your happy with a monthly fee this kicks out the sound very well. It does a nice shopping list, and news but then fails at almost every else saying I’m still learning which becomes annoying really fast. It will not sent a text message which it’s direct competition apparently will, yet to test but vital for visually impaired people. It won’t read my gmail or tell me tide times ...... okay toy

Brilliant little device
Fab only thing is recommend is getting the Google home if your wanting it really loud although this does prefect in our small 2 bed house

Handy for the bedroom to control lights and alarms
Second one, eat to set up and handy. Use it to turn on and off IKEA lights, set alarms and play occasional music. Small, stylish.

Good gadget
Easier to set up than Alexa. A bit more hard of hearing and more misunderstandings than Alexa Alexa makes it more well known what she can do.

Google Mini is good for a giggle!
The Google Mini is a good all rounder for my family, she makes us laugh and she even back chatted my partner - win, win! Easy to set up, just plug, download app, follow instructions and away you go. Music is OK for us, but if you need more you have pay and download a music app, my daughter has Spotify Premium, I just have the free Spotify. You also have to be quite specific with your wording when giving Google instructions, but just keep trying and she normally comes up trumps!

Educational and very handy speaker.
My kids love this. I find it very educational for them too. If you're curious about something you only have to ask and nearly all of the time it has the answers. Sound quality is surprisingly good and more than loud enough for my living room. Works great with chromecast if you have Netflix too . I also find it handier than using my phone for alarms and reminders etc. I'd advise this over the larger Google home unless you are after more powerful sound as this thing has all the same features.

Fun gadget
An easy and fun gadget, simply connect to the goggle via the internet, and then ask a million and one questions. So far we have listened to the radio, played lots of music from our goggle play list and heard lots of jokes!

Early days for these things but useful
Bought as Christmas presents for my daughter and family. Liked it so much that she bought me one for my birthday! Still early days for these things but they are useful especially if you can't be bothered to get out of the chair and want to know how to spell a word or what the weather is going to be like the next few days. Links to your Spotify account to play music too.

Excellent little gagdet
My 15 year old loves this and I often hear her calling at it to either switch her music volume up or down. It seems to work really well and I would definitely recommend.

A handy kitchen timer(!)
We had big problems setting this up to identify our location, so questions like "What time is it?" would result in the reading out of the Wikipedia definition of time(!). Having got that sorted, it's fair to say that we don't use it as much as I'd hoped. The most common use for it is as a timer for pasta/similar... but even that doesn't deliver: If you set and name multiple timers, it just goes beep and you have to ask it which timer it is that's just gone off, which is frustrating.

My Google mini is brilliant
My Google mini is brilliant you can ask it anything and it will tell you the answer. It plays any song you want,tells you your local weather and lots more. Brilliant!!
