Google Home Mini (1st generation) - Chalk
Fun to use but a little frustrating
When it works it’s fun to have and people who come by the house love to play around with it, but I consistently have problems with it disconnecting from my blootooth and have to reboot it.

What a fab bit of technology
Brilliant little addition to my home, plugs in anywhere and picks up internet no problem. The only down side is when you ask Google something sometimes Home doesn't quite understand. Apart from that I love my little sidekick as does my little boy. Tells jokes, plays games and also recognises my smart lights Overall we are oogle Google happy

Amazing how quickly you get used to voice control
Bought this on a bit of a whim, but the functionality is great, being able to ask for music, details of my day, quick news summary and even turning off the TV. All works brilliantly. It is so easy to ask for things and they just happen. Just make sure you correctly lock down your privacy settings and security.

Google mini
Well, what a brilliant little gadget. It's a really useful toy. My friends goigle mini even told me not to use fast track and visit the store and see the very helpful staff. The sound it produces is good for such a small speaker. Good product.

Great sound
Bought as second google home for my craft room , was set up within a few minutes, great sound for such a small speaker, will be purchasing a third one for my bedroom

Google Home Mini does the trick.
Wasn’t sure about these smart speakers until I took the plunge. Very pleased so far - speaker more than adequate for the room I’ve put it in and it’s used for listening to radio and music collection on Google Play. Also handy for getting immediate answers to questions such as the weather forecast, local shop opening times etc.

Remarkable decent sound
Works differently to Amazon's Alexa devices but with Googles search power it's excellent for getting information. I wasn't expecting the sound to be that good (an Alexa Dot isn't great) but in fact, it's decent enough for a bedside 'radio'. Great to be able to wake up and ask for your daily briefing of weather, traffic and news headlines.

OK Google
A compact and unobtrusive gadget, sound quality is reasonable, even for music but don't expect anymore due to its speaker size. It was easy to setup, but not as responsive as an Amazon Echo - often having to repeat the voice commands twice. Other issues is that the sometimes it would pick up 'trigger' words and integration with other apps do not fully work properly e.g. it won't read out all-day events in your google calendar. Room for improvement but has loads of potential.

Google spot excellent
This is brilliant ask it anything you want to know about and 99% of the time it just knows the answer. I’m really impressed even my 2 year old can use it and it’s great for recipes and cooking instructions. Highly recommend this 10/10

Great product with a useful bluetooth speaker
Purchased primarily to allow my daughter to play songs in her bedroom via spotify. The voice control adds to the package and she's now setting alarms, turning off lights and using it to call our mobiles. Blown away by how useful this is. The speaker easily fills her bedroom with sound.

Hands free management with google home mini
Google home mini is good and gives me hands free management of my calendar, tasks, reminders, etc. It helps me multi task better.

Worth every penny
I've only had this about a month and wish that I'd bought it sooner! It is just perfect, I use it to listen to the radio, add things to my shopping list, add appointments to my calendar. It works perfect as an alarm clock too. Tells you jokes, facts etc. You can also use it for making calls, numbers in your phone contacts which is great. Now I've bought a smart plug to use in my kettle so before i get up, I ask google to switch it on and she does so its boiled when I get up. Perfect all round x

I like the Google home and I use a lot but I wouldn't recommend because half the time Google home doesn't understand what I'm saying also how many times do you have to say ok Google before it will answer. Microsoft should fix the Google home so that the device can understand Scottish.

Would recomend getting the full size Google Home if you are able to do so - the sound quality in the larger one is much better but we bought this mini to work in conjunction with the larger one and works well.

Great bit of technology.
Looks nice and good sound. Voice commands work well. But disappointing that I can't play music from my Google play music library only from the streaming service.

My Google home mini
I love my Google home mini as it acts as my speaker with several other features I use such as reminders. It is very useful and was a great price. I pressed order and straight away I could collect it from argos and claim my reservation.
