Tiny in kitchen corner but loud and proud
Replaced my Alexa after competitive reviews against Google Mini. It has great sound quality at highest volume - is small and aesthetic. Need to learn how to do use the features or calendar, reminders etc. Bought my dad one for Father’s Day!

Amazing value for an AI product
I still can't believe that it'like living in the future with such a small thing. It can switch the lights on and off and plays the music I like.

Great little gadget.

Lovely gadget
Bought this to put on our 8 year old TV, which hasn’t got built in WiFi. Easy set up. We use it to cast Netflix, YouTube and BBC Iplayer on TV. We later on bought a google home mini. My kid is able to ask for programme through voice control.

Small but good
Smaller than the Google Home main device however just as good with clear quality sound and accurate interaction.

Very pleased
Very pleased with this. It integrated with the main Google home unit easily and I can now access services from two rooms. The sound quality is not as good as the bigger unit but that's probably to be expected.

Ideal for Spotify - the jokes are awful tho.
We've had this about a fortnight now. So far so good. It does take a bit of getting used to but I think I'm glad we got it - although the kids have discovered how to ask for jokes and play guessing games which can get slightly tedious! I really only wanted it for radio and Spotify, and mostly it works fine for that. I use it in conjunction with my smart phone which is ok, but I haven't utilised it sufficiently yet ( I haven't linked my calendar or emails as it hasn't seemed necessary).

Cute speaker with above average sound
Its very good value for money and so easy to set up and looks great on the coffee table or wherever you put it. I found the sound quality above average and probably the best at this price point but don't expect miracles for the size as it's really small.

Great Fun
A big boy toy for boys ,girls ,mum's and dads, all will enjoy finding out what google will do ,download the app on your phone 2 mins setting up and away you go , it helps if you have a music subscription, all good.

So useful, and excellent sound quality
The sound quality is much better than the Amazon Echo, having a rich bass sound, and a basic equalizer option in the app. It can pick up voice commands even while in the shower or outdoors. The option to give commands or set a timer while I'm busy doing something else is so useful. I'd say the only downside is the lack of a dedicated page that lists things you can do with it, unlike Amazon's list of 'skills'.

Home mine is loud enough for an average living room and enough fun to fill up a couple of kids for several days. Instantly referred when they have family parties round. Play music doesn't recognise some obscure band names but it's amusing to get some of the random pieces it often selects because it doesn't quite understand As it's Google it gets constant updates to improve and is a great addition to the household. That's ignoring the fact you can make free land line calls with it!

Great addition to the home
Love it! Super easy to set up and get started. Sound quality is good and the google home app makes things easy to control from your phone too. Not quite as good as the Google Home, (that lives in the kitchen), in terms of sound and control, but this mini works great as an upstairs device and it easy easy to link as a group device. It listens well and could understand over other noises and the Google assistant far surpasses any other home devices for intelligence and response.

Great smart speaker
The mini is perfect for someone who wants to give smart speakers a try. It is much better than Alexa and linked up with your calendar, music, reminders etc.

Sheer disappointment
I was so excited when I order google home mini - I thought I’ll go hands free with this one. But it doesn’t support BBC iPlayer, nursery rhymes etc stuff that you needed when you’ve got little ones at home. It does help a little bit though but overall I’m disappointed, given that what it can do in US and not here

my google home mini is absolutely brilliant.
Google mini does everything i want it to do even when you say ok google im going to bed she will say sweet dreams. Also helps with most questions if she says im not sure how to help you but im working on it. Also suitable for a small size living room like mine, can be put in any room. one thing you need to do is to put home app on phone or tablet.
