I bought this TV?DVD for my touring caravan. Great picture, nice sound and does everything it says on the tin! just plug the power in and go. packs away into a small space. would be equally as good for a bedroom tv. Its not super big or stylish its very practical and does everything I need it for. Good buy all round!

Great little combo for a small room
Ideal small screen for small spaces. The picture quality is as expected for a combination of this price. Sound quality is OK, and there are options to maximise sound for different modes of function. On the down side, the stand is a bit wobbly. Overall, I would recommend this if you are looking for something compact.

Excellent service by Argos!
I bought a 19" Alba television with built in dvd player for my brothers Christmas present. It's because he is handicapped and about to go into a care home with his own room. He loves to chill out and watch his Disney dvds. It's perfect for him. Argos delivery service is second to none and I definitely recommend 100%.

Bush 19" combi tv
Nice little TV. Good to look at. Picture quality excellent. Could have better sound quality. Instruction manual confusing, seems to have been written for another model ie tells you to insert dvd backwards. Still trying to understand controls, manual appears to have been translated from another language into English.

Quite disappointed with the picture.
I was pleased to see this TV as there don't seem to be many 19" on the market. However the picture is difficult to see unless your eyes are directly level with the screen.. I have it in my bedroom and if I'm in bed it's too high, but if I'm standing up it's too low. I really wish the viewing angle was adjustable.

Really good small TV
I fitted this under a cabinet in my kitchen, the picture quality is good and sound is fine. The only small issue is the viewing angle as we are looking at it from above the screen comes across as too bright. Really not an issue with the TV, just the angle I am using it at... overall happy with this purchase.

Good for the price
I needed a TV to connect to a new VirginMedia V6 box which only supports HDMI - the existing TV used SCART. This was under £100 is just the right size for the Kitchen has a DVD player = good for CDs. The picture and sound quality are both ok and overall this is good value (just don't expect great sound)

Lovely little telly but sound not brilliant
This is a lovely little tv which we bought for camping. It needed a strong mobile aerial and once tuned the picture was very clear. Tuning process very simple. Sound is a bit tinny but bearable. Took me a while to work out how to change back from DVD to TV on the remote (didn’t take the manual camping!)

Look good, set up easy. tight to push in DVD
Purchased from shop very easily and quickly. Easy to set up and start using. DVD difficult to push in, maybe will loosen once been used a few times. Also the remote control part for DVD is not that clear which buttons are for what. Maybe just me!! Generally happy with the product for the price!

Not bad for the price.
I bought this television for my bedroom as it had a DVD player . I found the sound quality was very poor up against my LG. It's to small amd the screen has no tilt adjustment so it appears to be falling forward . It has gone into a spare room. Wiser to spend a little more to get a better quality .

Straightforward options to change picture & sound characteristics. Inbuilt DVD facility is an advantage; few sets seem to have this now. Comprehensive instruction book (real paper !) except some acronyms are not defined in it. Providing it remains reliable, we are very pleased with this television.

Good quality cheap TV
Bought in an emergency when my elderly father's TV blew up. The BRILIANT thing about Argos is their 'same day delivery' service. I bought it in the morning and it arrived in the afternoon. I might have chosen a different TV with more time to peruse, but for the price it's perfect for my dad's bedroom.

TV is small and portable for small areas
Alba 19" LED small TV with DVD Player is just the ideal size for the use in my spare bedroom. It can also be portable anywhere else in the house. Picture, sound , design is very good. It took me a long time to set up. I had to call the Helpline team who talked me through set up and were very helpful.

Brilliant!
Purchased this for a bedroom with limited space, mainly for watching DVDs - however with an easily-installed 'stick it on the window-frame' antenna, can access 90 TV and radio channels - and the sound and picture quality is excellent, so I think this little gem will be getting quite a bit of use!

good tv/dvd combo
For a small t.v.,this has a very good picture and the sound quality is very good, i would recommend this t.v. for anyone who needs a compact t.v. (for a kitchen,small bedroom etc)...the free view is so easy to set up and the dvd is easy to operate...i would definitely recommend this tv/dvd combo.

Good picture, average small tv sound (ie poor!)
Good resolution and colour but viewing angle isn’t great. Needs a sound bar really but fortunately it has a co-ax audio-out port. Light weight and easily wall mounted with a standard bracket (not supplied) Haven’t tried the stand that came with the tv. Good value if you want a small tv.

Albert 19" combo
This tv has a very narrow angle of view. OK if you view from one hight and directly at 90° to screen. Needed a 19 inch screen to use in motorhome , so there was no alternative choice. Otherwise set is ok. Viewing this set by two or more people means only one person can see a good picture.

Lovely little tv/dvd bought for caravan
Bought for caravan as space limited. Setting up a bit of a drag but once we managed to auto set up channels not too difficult. Remote control a bit cheap & light but that's what you get with a cheap tv so not surprised there. Still not a bad tv as long as we are not pitched under pylons

Great price and a great picture quality
Bought this a a present for my sister. It was very easy to install even for a blonde with no IT knowledge. The instructions were very clear and the TVDVD combo is great. I have had no issues at all and would have no hesitation in recommending this,TV.Great price well done ALBA & ARGOS :)

Good TV for small room.
This TV/DVD combi is easy to set up, and the picture quality is as good as you would expect from a HD ready display. The only downside is the Freeview tuner is not HD, so you can only receive the standard definition channels. Still worth the 5 stars, and a perfect TV for our kitchen.

TV for the kitchen
This is a good TV for the kitchen. Unfortunately, the sound reproduction isn't good. Otherwise it would be ideal. I ordered the TV online for delivery to me at home. It came promptly when the driver suggested he bring it into the house for me. He was very helpful and courteous.

Only one problem
The TV looks good and sounds good. Only problem is that the scart connection is placed so that it is almost impossible to get the scart plug in. I wish I could post a picture to show. As I wanted it for my Wii Fit, it is a bit of a pain. I have had to jam it in - it does work though.

Good little TV /DVD
Reserved it / collected it / unpacked it / plugged it in / tuned it / and away we went.........everything worked. Tested a DVD and again all well...........the sound is a bit tinny, but you get used to it, or you can buy some plug in speakers.........overall a good little TV / DVD.

Caravan tele
We needed a television for our caravan with a DVD player, this Alba 19" with DVD player was the perfect choice. The price was excellent value for what we needed and works perfectly in the caravan. Saved going and buying a specific caravan television at nearly three times the price.
