Brilliant picture great price
I have had this make of TV for about 8 years now and thought I would upgrade it as it was on offer on black Friday. Brilliant picture I would even say better than my dad's TV that he paid 700+ for the name of the TV when this one is just as good ! And great picture for gaming too !! 4k

Big Screen little money
Got this for a display screen in work, for a 50" this was a pretty good price and i was surprised how stylish it was. Was easy to set up and has lots of access points, only downside is if you are putting it on a wall with a flat bracket it is tricky to get to the hdmi and usb ports.

Liked it so much it's my 2nd!
I had the model previous to this which got damaged during a house move and got this model for a replacement and not disappointed at all. Does exactly what it says on the box good clear picture excellent sound quality and perfect room size TV. Cant go wrong excellent TV for the price!

AWFUL TV!
I would avoid this tv at all cost. Not worth at all. It constantly turns itself off, doesn’t connect to the internet and when does it just constantly disconnects. The remote barely works. I took the tv back in the end and swapped it for a different one which is much better.

Fantastic smart Hitachi 50inch tv
I love this tv and I must say I didn’t had no problem with this tv or a set up As a women with basic knowledge of technology I have managed to set up my tv in few min and even connecting it to my wi fi broadband and YouTube Picture is really good quality All good Happy

My 55 inch TV awesome
Got a nice deal through a Black Friday and after several research and price check decided to go for it and my decision was awesome. The tv arrived on time and it's easy to fix and picture quality is super from a decent distance the close look is not clear. Sound quality is good.

Not a good brand choice
Great price compared to other brands but I can see why now i have it working. The picture is terrible and is not clear like my other two samsung sets and I should of paid more as you get what you pay for. The ease of use also is not very good either. Lesson learnt here I think.

Bargain for the price.
Despite the relatively low price for a 50 inch 4k uhd tv I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The design is a little on the plasticy side but all in all it is a bargain. Was most surprised by the quality of the sound as flat screen tvs can often have poor sound quality.

Good size telly for low prize
Picture quality is good but not awesome. If you are watching a movie then the sound will disappoint so worth getting a decent soundbar. Interface and OS is a bit clumsy and wee bit slow response to the remote control. Can't get a better deal on blackfriday for 50 inch TV

standard tv for price, great picture quality, youtube & netflix loads perfectly no delay, the remote has a dedicated bottom for yoube & netflix which is handy. design is nice only down side is the chrome trimmings are plastic but still looks good. perfect for second tv.

Hitachi 50 inch 4K tv
Just happened to be looking at 32 inch tv's when I saw this Hitachi 50 inch advertised at a bargain price. It was so easy to set up. The hardest part was I had to wait for someone to come home to help me get it out of the box. Can highly recommend this make and model.

Love the tv Works great
The tv itself for the price is amazing it did hurt my eyes first few times due to adjusting to a bigger screen but I love it so easy to connect to Netflix and you tube just click one button! I was unsure if to get this due to commented before about sound but sounds great

The Sound is terrible & remote unresponsive
- The TV is slow to receive input from the TV remote. Having to press the buttons repeatedly without getting a response from the TV - The sound quality drops dramatically after you get past a low volume. Defeats the point of increasing the volume if the sound is bad.

Very good, but connection blame
The price is very sharp for the quality of sound and image that u receive, whatever the connection is very very bad. I thought it was with my WiFi thing (200 GB) but I've called there and the problem was in television, sadly. But a very nice product for the price.

Great TV
Very pleased with my purchase overall. Was surprised that the set did not have a scart socket but have to admit I had my previous TV for a number of years. I had to live without the DVD player for a few days until new leads arrived. Extremely good value for money.

Exellent
This was a present for my father who has failing eye sight. He was able to see the planner and navigate through which was more than i was expecting The picture quality is very good and I'm hopeful he will get a lot more enjoyment out if it compared to his old TV.

Sadly not recommended
Sadly the tv developed a fault on the second day we had it and I had to return it. I exchanged it for a different make as I didn’t want it take the chance again. Although the replacement cost more it is far better quality and the menus are far easier to navigate

Dissappointed
TV arrived Saturday set it all up then opened the remote to find there was no springs in the battery department, telephone and was told a new remote will have to be posted out. This arrived Thursday so for 5 days myself on 10 year old daughter were left without a TV

Great Picture Quality
This was not my first choice of TV but to be honest it is excellent and I am chuffed that my first choice was not available ay hr time of purchase' It doubles as my PC monitor which means I do not have to wear my specs when surfing the web or checking my emails,

Brilliant TV for the money
Really happy with the tv so far, I’ve waited a month before writing a review. Picture quality is really good and the built in speakers produce decent sound. Has all the apps I want, was easy to setup and easy navigation on the tv. Well worth the money 5/5 stars!

Great to look at even when switched off.
Excellent smart 4k UHD tv. Very easy to set up with many cool features. Picture is crystal clear and very dynamic. Good size tv and fantastic value for money. Would be nice to have a sound bar included but besides that I cannot really fault it. Highly Recommend.

Poor picture quality
The picture us dark and unclear. I have an old tv which is not smart but the picture is far better on the old one. I was very disappointed as I thought Hitachi was a good make only to find that the mother board was made by Vestra in Turkey and is of poor quality

Absolute bargain !
My best purchase for years. After buying samsung tvs for a number of years i was a bit apprehensive about buying an hitachi tv, well i need not have worried, this 50 inch 4k hitach tv is superb, a stunning picture, great sound and a all round great looking tv.

4K Television at a great price
If you're looking for a 4K UHD Smart Television and don't want to pay a fortune, then this is the one for you. The sound is good, the picture is amazing, the size is fantastic for my living room - it also looks like a top branded tv, so thumbs up to Hitachi!
