Gone for the cheaper version of 50 inch tv and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. Sounds great. Easy to use. Easy to set up. The freeview play button and you tube button is a good touch. lovely design. Would definitely recommend.

Good value for money
Good priced product, image and sound quality is good enough for day by day use. Great for photos display. Interface based on Ubuntu isn't the best but works. Remote is not as responsive. I would recomend, but wouldn't buy again.

My TV HAS GREAT SOUND AND PICTUre
Great price for a 4K TV, staff in the shop were very helpful. The picture difference from my old HD TV is amazing and the smart features are great! Would definitely recommended. Best purchase. Easy to set up smart features also.

Excellent smart TV at affordable price
Bought the TV on black friday, got a massive discount. Argos is the best in providing electronics at cheap prices. Decent smart TV, good picture quality and sound. All streaming apps supported except Now TV which is a pain.

remote is dodgy
The tv has great picture quality and sound but the remote doesn’t always work first time and you have to keep pressing it . It connected to WiFi after a couple of attempts and has stayed connected, well worth the money I paid

Not great
I wish I had spent a bit more and brought a better make. This telly would be ok for playing games on i guess but not brilliant for TV especially sky the picture changes all the time. To be honest i wish I didn't buy this telly.

New TV
Very good TV, well worth for it price. Purchase it for kids bedroom. They managing it very well. Expected it to be slow, but been nicely surprised. No complains so far. I might get another one for us in a future. Thanks a lot.

Good tv, decent quality
Good size tv and good quality for price, needed a tv quick as my one broke after 13 months, wont mention make, only thing I can say is the remote works when it wants, not very good other than, only had for week, so far so good

Good buy
The TV is good quality, and the sound is very good. The colours don't look quite right on the screen but I think that will be a matter of amending the settings. The stand is neat and sturdy, and doesn't take up too much space.

Everything you want in a TV
Love this TV. We got it in the sale, so amazing price for it. Like that the controller can go to prime and nerflix with a click of a button. Easy to connect phone to TV. . Set up the TV really easy to sky, and the internet.

Great TV but one issue.
Generally happy with the TV overall however the remote control doesn’t seem to be very responsive, you need to press the buttons in quite hard sometimes. Don’t know if I’ve just been unlucky or if it’s a common fault.

Brill tv for the money
Brilliant tv for the money. Picture quality isn’t too good but if you have a 4K console or anything else 4K it looks fab. I also suggest getting a sound bar for that little bit extra bass and treble. Overall would recommend

Great product, shame about the service!
Great product for the price. Issue with the picture and a long winded complaint (that is still ongoing however Argos seem to have lost my number)!! However Hitachi performed a factory reset on the product and seems to be ok.

Honestly I couldn’t be more pleased with this tv. Connectivity is great no lagging at all. My Panasonic was so slow to respond bit this is instant. I’d all but given up using my firestick but it breathed new life into it

Love it!
Amazing picture, sound quality is good but there is room for improvement. Not too keen on the actual design of it, but hey the picture makes up for the slightly old fashioned stand. Excellent buy at the price - delighted.

Hitachi 50 Inch Smart 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR
I got this as an exchange for the 43" model which had issues with remote control sensor on tv. Same issues with this which was duly returned for a different manufacturer's product. Picture is not great even in HD. Avoid.

Fantastic buy, got on Black Friday deals but even at full price would be well worth it! Sound and picture quality are fantastic, easy to put the stand together and definitely wouldn’t go back from having the option of 4K

Very sluggish

This TV has very clear picture. The sound is great for a TV. The menus and configuration is step by step and easy to follow. The remote works from a good distance and it is very comfortable on the hand. Great Quality.

Avoid this tv
Purchased this TV on the 14th June. Had to phone for support hours later. Screen kept going black, but had sound despite updating software. Ended up returning it and getting a different brand. AVOID THIS TV AT ALL COSTS

Pleased once I had sorted out the colour
Colour very powdery in my opinion but once gone into the deeper setting page it was much better. Bit disappointed I could not set up my sky remote to control the volume even though the latest control. Price brilliant
