Simple small headphone amp
I bought this so that I could provide extra headphone monitors while recording at home. Its a nice piece of equipment. You can take one stereo mix out of your recording interface/mixer and send that mix to four separate headphones. Not a huge amount of features, each headphone channel has its own volume knob. You cant have seperate mixes for different headphones. The unit is built well. It has a metal enclosure. The control knobs feel fine, nothing special but should last if it is taken care of. Well worth buying if you want one output sent to four headphones.

Pretty good unit for the money
Does a pretty good job. A little lightweight in construction but nonetheless perfectly adequate for my needs.

Built well, distorts if pushed
Another product that does everything it should from Behringer. It works really good but after around 85% of the way it starts to distort audibly. Doesn't disturb that much, but I wouldn't mix with my headphone plugged in to this. Perfect for sending a headphone mix while recording

does what you expect it to do
This is a great solution for 2 or more headphones - like in a podcasting or interview situation. Individual volume controls mean everyone gets to adjust to what they are comfortable with. All Inputs and Outputs are stereo 1/4 inch TRS, so if you need 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) TRS, then make sure to get an adapter. small, light weight - overall excellent

Very handy and small unit
For silent rehearsal or adding extra players to my wired IEM system this unit is a no brainer. I keep it in my rack on standby, and use it when practicing at home. Really good value. only downside for me is that the power connection is a DC jack type, I really like using IEC types wherever I can( never had a problem though). No EQ just volume.

Hard-worker
I've been using it for the last 2.5 years everyday and still working without any problems. For the price it's an amazing device and the best to get friends for play late night :)

Good unit for this price
This unit do its job. There is no any noise, any crackle or distrosion etc. I can use with 4 studio headphone at the same time (dt770, ath m20x, senheiser, hd201x2). in this price it is ideal for price/performance rate.

Good enough for the price
Don't expect too much from this headphone amplifier, if you need a low-budget signal splitter it will do just fine. If you're looking for quality sound, look for a higher-price range headphone amp.

Incredible - I'm ordering a couple more
I thought it would be just a cheap spare to have, but it's really well made and sounds great. The only, very minor, downside to it as with it being so small, it could really do with being stuck down to something or it could have a tendency to move where the cables plugged into it decide they want it to go

Cheap but does it job
I have no problems with it. It has no features besides individual level knobs, but this exactly what I needed, as well as some good amplification. I use it with my band in our rehearsal room, because we play through Cubase (I got an e-drum kit). We needed some more amplification in our headphones, and this amplifier provided that and much more, since it also gave us handling of each output individually. Really good for its price, I am very pleased! I cannot really say that I have noticed any "drop" in the sound quality output either.

I use this with the behringer 4 channel line mix as part of my in-ear settings, it is noisy past the 2 p.m. mark, but useful nonetheless.

Does its job pretty well
I needed a small headphone amp, just for tracking, in order to split the signal to multiple headphones. I think this is one of the cheapest headphone amps (if not the cheapest one), so I was keeping my expectations low regarding the quality. I was pleasantly surprised when I tested it: I have no noise/hum issues. I can't tell for sure whether the audio signal that comes out is degraded. It may be, so just to be safe I wouldn't use it for critic... Show More

Incredible Bargain
This is the second one of these I have bought (the first was given to a needy friend), and I am still amazed that you get such a great little unit for $25. No noticeable hiss, smooth volume controls, dead simple operation, and plenty of volume driving all four outputs. Note that the picture shows the older white model. I received the newer black version which I actually prefer. The HA400 is probably the best value I have ever found in an electronic device.

GREAT LITTLE THING
This solved a lot of cable-stretching for me and has worked like a charm in my homestudio. If you don't get enough volume out of this, you're doing something wrong. Sufficient output from your sound interface is a must. Behringer products are extreme value for money. I have used many of their products for years and none of them have died on me yet :)

Just what I wanted.
Wanted to split my headphone signal to 4 ways, so everybody can hear the same mix while jamming at the playing room in my studio. It's loud, not noisy, doesn't compromising the sound quality, and easy to use. Just what I wanted. And for this price, this was a very good decision!

Good basic headphone amplifier
I bought this as I needed one of these quickly and to be fair to it, it's worked perfectly on a number of recording sessions perfectly and without any issues. Its very well made and sturdy, offers a fair degree of flexibility, and allowed us all to monitor without problems. Pretty noiseless and there was no distortion heard during use either. My only gripe would be that there wasn't a great deal of gain on tap and we were all near the end of... Show More

Nothing much to say about this, build quality is good, sound is good and it generally feels great. A good accessory for the budget home studio.

Good budget headphone mixer
I bought this because I needed a device that will enable me to have multiple headphones with different volume levels from my recording interface. For this job it's the perfect device. It sounds just fine, but I think you should be careful with your input and output levels and not crank it too much. The only minus I can think of is that there is no on and off button and you have to manually unplug the mixer every time you want to turn it on and off. Other than that it's a good cheap mixer!
