Small but Mighty
I am using this headphone amplifier as a distribution amplifier to route audio to a couple of devices and it is working great. I like the fact that each output has its own audio adjustment.

Great bang for buck!
If you're looking for a cheap alternative to a PA for band practice, definitely buy these. They aren't the best headphone amps out there, by a long shot, but they work. One thing that bugs me about it is the lack of an On/Off button but aside from that it just works super well, with relatively high output and sound quality. Also, I'm pretty sure these are the cheapest in the market with means that they're real good for the price.

Nice headphone amplifier
This headphone amplifier has worked very well for me in my home studio. The audio signal doesn't seem to degrade and/or no warmth or brightness is added, so the sound you get is the same as if you'd plug directly your headphones into your interface. I got the dark gray/black version and actually I like it more than the light/white version. The device seems to be of a strong build, at least it looks that it won't break with regular use. The only con I could find, at this price range, is that it lacks an on/off button. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a band rehearsal
I use this with my band connected to a mixer phones output with a stereo 1/4 inch cable. Its perfect to control the amount of volume in each headset and does the job really well. For the price you cannot go wrong at all Thank you Thomman for the exceptional service!!

Very good for the price.
Very good audio. Has separate amp components (most have 1 amp split 4 ways). This is my second... the first one died after 5 years of use.

Good headphone amp considered its price range
I had a very specific application for the HA400, and despite the price it serves this purpose very well. My use case was to route my TV to multiple headphones and to a Super T-amp. The main connection is from the headphone out of the TV to the input of the HA400, then each channel of the HA400 goes into a dedicated headphone or the T-Amp. I have headphones with multiple impedance so a simple split cable would not do. The sound quality is quite go... Show More

It is OK
Good signal slitter. Very straight forward, very easy to use. The sound going through the device almost does not change. But remember that you can not use the device to split signal which was sent through "Aux" (for monitor) from the mixer because it is a mono signal and on the exit from the device only left side of your headphones will work. So use only a stereo signal because the device will not transform mono to stereo.

Very good
This product does very well what it is suppose to do. Daisy chains 1 input signal into 4 outputs with independent volume knobs. The signal is very clean and for the price, I have no cons.

Excellent Headphone Amplifier
I use this product to power pair of head phones using the audio output jack from my laptop. Good amplification and sound quality. The female jacks on the amp are all 1/4 and my laptop as well as my headphones are 35mm so I needed to purchase 1/4 to 3.5mm Male to Female Stereo Adapters for it. It uses external power so even it you're using your laptop on battery, you still need a place to plug in the amplifier.

OK, but
Overall sound is ok. This piece is very effective, it has been used a lot in my studio without any problem.

Great little headphone amp!!
Purchased this headphone amp to be used in live gigs. I use it as my personal amp for my IEM and it works great. It's amplification is not crystal clear but it is very very good for the price. In a band situation you cant even tell that the amp is noisy. Although, if you're thinking in using it in a studio environment you might be better off spending a little more and getting something better. All in all considering the price this headphone ... Great solution to a simple problem
We needed separate volume controls for the headphones my wife and I wear during our podcasts. She needs hers hotter than I like, especially because the volume she prefers really aggravates my tinnitus (too many years as a Top 40 disc jockey). The Behringer HA-400 is inexpensive, sounds clean (better than our former solution, which was a splitter plugged into our mixer's headphone jack), and gives us exactly what we need at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Behringer HA400
Excellent headphone amp. I've only plugged two headphones at once and it has been enough for me when I've been recording, other artists at my home studio. Very simple looking amp which doesn't take up space. I've placed it on top of my MBox 2 Mini and it sits there nicely. Good quality product which works as well as you would assume. Can't complain at all. Price is not bad at all. I recommend this to everyone who is setting up their home studio.

A very inexpensive addition to a vocal band recording set up
This is a very decent and cheap solution for providing several headphone outputs. I use it when I record a vocal quartet, where everybody needs a headphone monitor. Surely, for individual monitor channels one needs more expensive solutions, but this device works perfectly for my use-case.

Does the job
I'm using it in studio while doing live recordings. We use different headphones so it's useful to adjust volume for each channel individually. The sound quality is good enough for listening while recording. But not good enough for listening music, mixing or mastering stuff. Small and usefull in recording studio. Worth for the price.

Good quality, Seems well made
Bought this small headphone amp to use exclusively with computers, as all of my workstations (used for web design, graphic design and photography) have feeble audio output - not enough to drive a decent headset to sufficiently loud levels.

Multiple live headsets
I chose this head phone amplifier as my band need to have a backing track and click in their ears at certain points during songs. This device allowed me to power multiple head phones each with their own volume. I found that this worked perfectly with most ear phones but certain high end headphones only recieved one ear when connected to the device. However this device seems extremely durable and is a perfect way to power your bands ear phones. Wo... Show More

Simple Headphone Amplifier at a Great Price
As a beginner podcaster I didn't want to spend a fortune. This amplifier fits the bill. It's small and wasn't expensive. It comes with an AC plug but you have to provide the audio out/headphone cable that comes from either your mixer, recorder, or computer into the amplifier. The input is not the small headphone mini audio stereo cable. It's the wider headphone cable. Also, every headphone that's plugged into this amplifier is also the wider cabl... Show More

Good but not enough power for live use
The product was as advertised and very easy to use. It was exactly as expected and described. As a low cost alternative, it excelled. However, I need it to be powerful as well to give me adequate monitoring during live performances. I found that when I turned the volume controls beyond where 8 would be, the signal distorted heavily. I tried numerous earbuds but the problem continued. My ears are not the best, but I need more power. I have returned this unit in favor of a higher line Behringer amp.

Inexpensive and Reliable
I bought this headphone pre-amp for personal monitoring at a number of gigs we do. We are generally close to the mixing desk, but independent volume levels are something we wanted for a long time. Now, we can control monitoring volume easily while playing, and adjust monitoring levels for each of our headphones on the fly. The unit itself has proved to be incredibly reliable and excellent value for money. It is very easy to use, with four simple ... Show More

I have been using the HA400 for a year and It´s been awesome! Usually all the outputs have been used and they have worked well. For example It gives enough volume for Shure Se -series earphones. This production has a good quality-money ratio.
