Fantastic camera
I bought this Sony Cybershot before a trip away and it is a fantastic product. It is easy to use and has a number of different modes and features (including a view finder, flip up screen and pop up flash) to help you take the best photos possible. It takes very high quality photos and I would recommend it to anyone not wanting to spend excessive amounts of money but who wants a good quality camera.

Sony Cybershot HX80
Seems to do all it says it will - love the viewfinder and the fact that you can play with the settings for a better result.It is really tiny, great for me, it easily fits in a pocket,but my husband finds it a bit too little for his much larger hands.

Excellent camera and stunning zoom
I bought this as a pocket camera to take walking in nature as it had 30x zoom which is at the top end for this size camera. In practice the zoom is stunning, being able to pick out things the eye can barely see, the optical steady shot making it usable when hand-held. The other feature I like a lot is the electronic viewfinder which means you can see what you're taking in bright sunlight and even look into it to review your photos. No manual focus though, so designed mainly as a point and shoot.

Ideal pocket camera
By choice I like to use a digital SLR to take photos but when that is just too bulky then this is an ideal pocket camera. Amazing optical zoom. Having previously owned a Sony camera it was easy to pick up and use this one straight away. Great HD video capture too.

I 'm very happy with this camera . it's very good quality, practical and has got a lot of functions. I can send pictures to my Iphone , take selfies and I can take it every where with me as it's really small . I love it and I'm really happy with this purchase. recommended

Ace pocket camera with great features
The Sony Cybershot HX80 is a great little camera with more features than I've used so far. Very easy to pocket and carry around and has an excellent sense of quality about it. The Argos price was the best and the case a bargain.

Great Pictures and Easy to use
Purchased this camera for a holiday. Took some great pictures, I am no photography expert so used the auto settings most of the time. The transfer to my phone took a bit of working out, but easy once I knew how. Looking forward to working out all of the other features.

Sony HX80
Firstly Argos service was very good and price was competitive. I am delighted with the camera. It takes a while to work through the menus and find out all the options. If you don't want to go through the technicalities you can still get excellent results by leaving the camera set to intelligent auto and let it do the work. Either way the picture quality is good.

Great Camera
I had an earlier Sony Cybershot which I was very happy with and that only developed problems after I had it over 10 years. We bought another camera as a replacement which was useless, so changed it for a new Sony Cybershot. Very happy again and everything good so far. Pleased with night time flash shots as well, which was very important to me.

Good first semi-professional camera
Lovely camera. Nice quality, takes photos very quickly and are easily transferable to phone. The flip screen is definatley the best feature - altogether I recommend.

fantastic little camera 30x zoom outstanding for wildlife i usually take my canon7d mk11 and a 300mm lens very big bit of kit so its nice to have in my pocket this little gem for quick fire shots of the unexpected with great results and the video is brilliant as well i recommend the sony HX80

Good all rounder camera
I absolutely love this camera. It's lovely and small but the technology far out weighs its size. Very easy to use and such amazing results. A SLR made super small. Fantastic zoom. Haven't managed to get the wifi to work yet but hopefully it's not difficult to set up.

Excellent little camera
I'm still figuring how to use some of the functionality on this camera, but what I've used so far, I'm impressed with. Took some photos at a gig a few days ago and was pleased with how it coped with difficult lighting conditions. The only slight annoyance is how long it takes to process pictures on continual-shoot mode before it's ready to fire again. Other than that, a great little camera. Oh, and the wi-fi transfer works well too! :-)

Great camera for a small compact
I just bought Sony HX80 camera before holidays and it's excellent. Easy to use, good quality image, and can fit easily into a pocket. The retractable screen is nice... this was one of the reason which I bought it for and also for the 30x optical zoom. The viewfinder is a great help and displays useful information. Much more practical than a big camera and good value for money. I recommend it if you want a small good camera.

Great camera!! Replacement for hx50 so a lot more technical, and a little more complicated but brilliant overall. Selfie screen feature works well and very lightweight for a camera of its capabilities.

Excellent travel camera
I do a lot of cycling and photography, all l need to do is pop this Sony lx80 in my pocket and I'm ready. Could not be more pleased with quality and performance of this camera..

Nice little camera
This was purchased as a gift for my daughter who has been able to take some lovely pictures and videos. It's pretty straightforward to use and we haven't yet tested out all of the features. The articulated LCD is brilliant too. Overall a good camera so far.
