Absolutely brilliant, great camera
Great photo , clarity and quality amazing, and such a great price for a quality piece of kit. Light and easy to carry in everyday life, travelling etc. Flip screen awesome for vlogging or selfies, would recommend!

Best value compact camera
Had the Sony HX90 until last year when my daughter "borrowed"it.This model only loses the variable front ring feature,an omission most people would not use anyway.Amazon are £50.00-£70.00 more expensive than Argos.This camera has to be the best performing travel camera in it's group.

Wow, what a zoom!
I bought this camera specifically for taking nature shots with the zoom. It's fantastic. I've zoomed in on herons, robins, squirrels, blackbirds and even a rock pipit. The quality of the shots is excellent. I've enjoyed having a play around with some of the other fun settins too. Posterise and low key mono are two of my favourites. It's a top notch camera, really easy to use and a perfect point and shoot camera if that's all you need. You can also set it to manual too!

A great compact camera with a viewfinder
This is a neat and well-made unit by a reliable manufacturer. It's greatest assets are its Zeiss lens (with a total of 30x magnification), the tiltable screen and the pop-up electronic viewfinder. I look forward to learning a bit more about its many capabilities and using it for years to come.

I bought this to replace a Panasonic compact which i just cant get on with. Its so easy to connect it to my Sony phone the photos transfer in seconds! They are really decent quality, it doesnt have gps or a touchscreen, hardly the end of the world. The tilting screen on the other hand is great. Im really pleased i chose this compact its great!

Great little camera with many functions
Only given 4 stars as haven't taken it on holiday yet. Loads of functions. Great flip screen for selfies. Wi-Fi a great extra. Very small so easy to put in handbag or pocket. Would have liked a different colour but only in black.

A good compact camera
I brought this camera as I wanted a light weight camera that takes pictures as good as a big DLS camera. It has a 30x zoom and the zoom lens folds right back into the camera when not in use. It easily fits into a pocket.. It also has a lens that you can look into to take photos when it's really sunny and can't see properly on the big screen. Every photo I've taken is crystal clear. I'm disappointed it doesn't have a defocsed background setting. Unless anyone knows if there is one?

Superb
What a cracking little camera, the picture quality is superb the battery life is also excellent . Also having a viewfinder adds to the quality for which you would expect on much more expensive cameras like a bridge . I am very impressed with the features for the price . Well recommended for macto photography .

The HX80 is a great compact camera
Photo quality is far better than you would get off a smartphone due to the size of the lens and sensor. And of course you have proper zoom. You can optionally use a smartphone to control the camera and transfer pictures for easy review / forwarding. The pop up viewfinder means you can see what you'll get in bright sunlight and the fold over screen is handy for selfies. Picture quality is excellent, the camera is very easy to use and there's good support from Sony.

This is not a 20mp Camera it is a 18.2mp
This is a good camera but the press button to take a photo is hard to press and need to stretch your finger to press it. Was Mad i was not given the camera i payed for the 20mp as Argos dont sell it.

Great camera!
Great quality, zoom and macro. Got the wifi working easy too. Indoor and outdoor good and no problems with low light for me.

Versatile
It has a great focal range - 24-720mm, and macro shots are excellent. It's well built, feels weighty and sold. Picture quality is really good considering it has a small sensor. I totally recommend it because it's so small and versatile.

Amazing features in a tiny package
This amazing little camera has a lot to offer, from the pop-up view finder which helps on sunny days to the outstanding amount of pre programmed and adjustable settings, this camera is great for beginners and as a compact for seasoned pros, the screen even flips round if you fancy a quick selfie or vlogging!

Decent camera for the price
I bought this when my Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX50 packed in after three years. It's a reasonable replacement. It's more compact and is quite user-friendly, though the picture quality isn't as good and it's irritating that it doesn't fit into my previous Cyber-shot carry case. Overall, for the price, it's a decent product, though I will probably upgrade several levels next time I buy a camera.

Great little camera
This camera has lots of features which we have yet to explore but if you just want to point and shot it takes excellent pictures. Easy to connect to your computer and if you download the sony app it is also easy to edit your photos.

Great little camera. Perfect for holidays/days out
Ideal for all photo opportunities. Fits in your handbag so can be carried at all times on days/nights out. Takes great pictures. Auto setting takes just as great pictures as manual setting. Beginners to more experienced photographers will be happy with quality.
