Bought this for my partners Christmas present. The whole family are enjoying using it! Looks great and the sound is just at the right level. For the price I am very happy with the product, would definitely recommend to others.

Early Days
A well made product a shame the have now stopped letting you upload 250 of your own songs means you will now have to pay to listen to music.

Great gadget with many applications. One great discovery is that I have changed the wake up word from Alexa to Computer. Great for Star Trek nerds

Issues are that you rely on Amazon or google for tunes. Would be superb if you could play ITunes through it.

Amazon Echo is Brilliant
Everything about it is great - in fact so good that we bought TWO - both of these via Argos - easy shopping and available to collect immediately - price was same as other outlets; but biggest factor in using Argos was that they had it in stock and could be collected straight away - as compared to ordering on-line with other companies and then having to wait for parcel delivery - be at home when delivery being made; etc

Good and budget-friendlly speaker
Good speaker for the price. While many say that this isn't a high-end speaker, for the average person it's quite enough. Alexa learns more all the time, so the integration is fun and time-saving. Highly recommended.

Easy to set up and use, however even having prime, for any decent music you have to pay a monthly subscription for another app to be able to create playlists

Needs additional paid services
The Echo is good, but problematic to set up using WiFi on a phone! It would be better with a wire to a computer or setup via a website by inputting a serial number. You can't see all the options on the Android app and it stops some versions working because it messes up files on the phone. Once started I found it didn't know where I was, so had to go in to the website and register for an Amazon account I did not want. To play music i'lll have to PAY EXTRA for a Spotify or Amazon Prime account

Hours of fun!
Great fun addition to the house - not sure how long the novelty will last but for now it’s great - love the automatic playing of music and not having to open a device or anything. Near product and looks good also.

Good entry into the world of the smart home
Bought this and now control lights, heating and plugs via Alexa. Enjoy being able to ask things on/off and also away from the house. The speaker is good. Quite bass-y and gives a good volume. If you have a few you can get the music to play out of multiple echos around your house. Only disappointment is you can't set an alarm to wake you up with the radio. Seems a basic function that they've not yet added.

Great gadget for the parents
Bought for my parents (55-60) to use in large kitchen dinner, they love it. It was easy to set up and even easier to use (even my technophobe dad can use it). Sound quality is excellent for where they have it.
