Great buy but be aware to get its full potential you need to subscribe to a music streaming provider like Spotify or amazon music etc.

Looks stylish in my living room
Once you set it up using the Alexa app on your phone it's easy. Instruction not very informative but in the app lets you know all sorts of things you can do like games called ' would you rarther' and interactive stories and night time music also excellent to listen to the radio speakers built in are excellent and has a great base so much better than the dot version .

Worth every penny
Works great, the sound is decent, doesn't take a lot of space and looks good. The voice recognition is working really well, even with different accents. I wish it'd support more variety of music apps, but it's good enough for now. Defo wort every penny

Christmas gift
Bought this as a Christmas present for my sister, she loves it! She has avoided technology as she always has issues setting things up, with the Echo she downloaded the Android app and had it working in minutes. I need to remind her to speak to Alexa without using her 'phone accent!'

Fabulous
I thought this might be a gimmick but far from it, it can educate you as well as play music or radio stations, I'm sure for those perhaps on there could be a form of company!

Perfect gift
Needed a gift for my impossible to buy for parents, dad is ok with computers & mum is terrified but within an hour they were utterly captivated with the range of things they could ask for. Especially good for dad who had a stroke in August & struggles with keyboards. Argos was cheaper than buying direct from amazon & I liked being able to click & collect to keep it a secret.

Speakers looks good and is loud
Speaker is good and very loud. Only thing I found hard was the set up but after I'd mangaged to do it, it was all working fine and was very fast and loud. I would recommend this to all ages.

We absolutely love our Alexa, there are a few things she says she doesn’t know, but when she know you get pleanty of detail and it’s just amazing! We are so glad we brought this!

Excellent product.
Great product. Looks good, the sound is excellent and I just have to ask it for a particular song or even say somethings like Play Me Relaxing Music and it does! Wonderful. No more getting up and fiddling with things, just use my voice to activate it. I also ask it for the news and weather etc. really useful; I would highly recommend it.

Good and budget-friendlly speaker
Good speaker for the price. While many say that this isn't a high-end speaker, for the average person it's quite enough. Alexa learns more all the time, so the integration is fun and time-saving. Highly recommended.

Easy to set up and use, however even having prime, for any decent music you have to pay a monthly subscription for another app to be able to create playlists

Needs additional paid services
The Echo is good, but problematic to set up using WiFi on a phone! It would be better with a wire to a computer or setup via a website by inputting a serial number. You can't see all the options on the Android app and it stops some versions working because it messes up files on the phone. Once started I found it didn't know where I was, so had to go in to the website and register for an Amazon account I did not want. To play music i'lll have to PAY EXTRA for a Spotify or Amazon Prime account

Hours of fun!
Great fun addition to the house - not sure how long the novelty will last but for now it’s great - love the automatic playing of music and not having to open a device or anything. Near product and looks good also.

Good entry into the world of the smart home
Bought this and now control lights, heating and plugs via Alexa. Enjoy being able to ask things on/off and also away from the house. The speaker is good. Quite bass-y and gives a good volume. If you have a few you can get the music to play out of multiple echos around your house. Only disappointment is you can't set an alarm to wake you up with the radio. Seems a basic function that they've not yet added.
