I LOVE THIS BASS!
This is a great starter bass and kit. The color of the bass is amazing. As I am a beginner, I cannot answer questions regarding strings, pickups, etc. But, it sounds good. Had to be tuned the first time, luckily my teacher was able to show me how to do that. I also like that it is an active bass, I bought a passive travel bass and I definitely like the active more. I would say get it if you are a beginner or a little further along. It's worth the investment. Also, the amp combo is fantastic! It's a Hartke! Cannot go wrong with that!

Great
Was just looking for a starter bass for my wife and this bass is all that and more. Sounds great and the amp that came with it is powerful. The only issue I had with it was a loose knob and the patch cord plug in was loose. Tightened both of them up and they are fine. If the knob and connector want loose I would've given 5 stars.
