Really fast and portable
I ordred the Samsung 500GB T5 because I was editing videos off of a big capacity slow hard drive. This definitely sped things up. I was really surprised how small it is. I also love the fact that it comes with a usb plug and a usb-c plug. In the near future, I plan on buying a new iMac with usb-c thunderbolt ports, so this way, I can use it now and in the future. Tiny, Fast and Effortless
Transfer speed is ridiculously fast, it takes up no space, and it worked out of the box without reading the instructions. I have two of them now. They are awesome.

Great Speed and Connectivity
Smaller than a pack of cigarettes, this SSD drive seems faster than other SSD drives I've tried. Comes with two cables, one is USB 3 to USB 3 than needs no dongles for my MacBook Pro.

Best 500gb SSD
Smaller than I expected (good!) and worked fine out of the box for PC and Mac though I reformatted it specifically for OS X so I could install High Sierra system on it.

Great expansion storage
My iMac internal 1 TB SSD drive was filling with pictures and I was becoming concerned about it's usage. For the better part of a year I have been using one of these stuck to the back of my Mac instead of the internal drive and I never know it is there. Using the short USB 3 cable for connection, it sure seems just as fast as the internal drive, handle 50MB RAW image files with lightening speed. I am one VERY happy customer.

Electrons are faster than spinning plates...
Soon there will be no more spinning disks - they all will be replaced with SSD's which will also bring the prices down. This is the only drawback of an SSD - price :-(

Great Product
I bought two for myself and one for my brother and one for my sister in law. I am using these drives to save photos. They are using the drives for University teaching. It is a wonderful product! It is fast, efficient, and good looking. If you need Samsung's technical support they are great! I made a stupid mistake and put two of my drives on a hub and it delayed my machine from opening. Now that these drives are on my computer, my computer opens right away.

Product Performs a expected
I do a lot of global travel via bicycle with camera equip. therefore very concerned with weight and bulk over price. This is so much lighter smaller and quicker than the HD's I was using to store images redundantly. So, far performs as expected, actually, quicker than expected. I would reccomand this Samsung product.

Samsung always has quality ss drives
Love having a 2 tb ssd in such a portable size. Easy to travel with... Plus there is added security of a password now. Which is nice, but kind of annoying to have to type in a password each time. Gotta get used to it. :P

Very Good
The price for large external SSDs got where I was willing to give it a try. I found that the drive is very fast. When it runs for a long time (e.g. transferring 1 Tb of photos) it does get pretty warm. For the most part under normal use it stays cool. I like the very compact size. You have to remember that it is not going to really sizzle speed wise unless it is connected to other fast devices.

Excellent Drive; A Good Improvement on the T3
This is an absolutely excellent drive. It has best in class read and write speeds, and the tiny form factor makes it extremely easy and convenient to use. Didn't work for me
Received this yesterday. Connected to my MacBook Pro with current OS. It mounted and then about an hour later dismounted on its own. Could not get it to mount with different cables and two other computers. Returned it today.

Beautiful little drive runs fast
Received it last night. Had a quick test. It is considerably faster than normal portable drive. It is small, light weight, beautifully designed, perfect as a backup drive for traveling. The USB-C to USB-C cable works nicely. Only improvement, I hope they include a small plastic storage box, like those come with all memory cards.
