It works if you are lucky
The bench is comfortable and can be easily adjusted. I would give it 5 stars if it did not have serious quality control issues. The first bench I bough produced loud clicks in left leg every time I sat down and stood up. Next day I bought a second one - it produced mild clicks in its right leg, but its right foot recess shape was not deep enough - and made the provided bolt too short to attach the foot to the leg. So I attached the foot from the first bench to the second bench to get one working copy, and returned the rest.

Great service, Great product, Great Price!
We have purchased this bench for our Auditorium grand which is used by several pianists/accompanists. The frustration with our mechanical turn the nobs to raise/lower bench is that each of us sets a different height for comfort. This bench turns a minute log task into a one second event - and zero frustration. And, this was so comparatively cost friendly. Happy!

Good medium priced bench!
This bench seems to be solid enough without being as heavy as the standard Jansen bench with wheels on the side. It should be perfect for most uses, particularly piano teachers or anyone who needs to adjust the bench quickly and painlessly. I question some of the plastic parts, as to their longevity, but time will tell....
