Big sound out of a small package
I purchased this to use mainly for voice during public meetings. I wanted to test it further, so I hooked up a cellphone to the mixer and played music through it. It sounded great, even with thevolumeway up and very loud it was clear with no hint of distortion. I highlyrecommendit.

Excellent Product
I purchased this speaker to provide sound for presenters at professional trainings. One of these speakers on a stand provides enough sound to fill a medium sized room with 40 participants. Two speakers would rock the place. There is a slight hiss when cranked up but it is not disruptive and no one complained. The speaker is small and light enough to pack in a large suitcase and did fine as checked baggage at the airport.

Very good sounding speaker for only having an 8 inch woofer;Was very easy to mount using the mount that is sold separately.The only downside that i see is a design flaw with the controls being flush with yhe back of the speaker which could lead to easy breakage.

Good but not the best
Test one of them for 20 min and it is not what i expect. For size and loudness not too bad. May be used in small rooms or with a subwoofer.

Great for what I needed

200 w at this size?
this is a great little speaker, could use a handle, but is small enough that you can carry two easily with out. great amount of volume and range for it's size. we use two as stage monitors for an acoustic band and they give us all the sound we need even at half volume. they lack a little on the bass end, but it is an 8 speaker.

Behringer B208D
I use the B208D as a personal monitor in my band. Lightweight yet powerful enough for my purposes. The control knobs seem very exposed and unprotected so I am concerned about possible future damage to those knobs and take extra care in handling the speaker and in placing it on surfaces.

A terrific deal on a solid performer
I needed an easily portable PA to play accompaniment from my iPhone as I sing. I couldn't find anything at a reasonable price that had enough power and clarity for an outdoor performance with an audience of a few dozen people. The B208D has a remarkably tight sound, with strong and well-balanced bass and ample power. At B&H's price, it was a screaming deal!

Great for music less for speakers
Using it for small room speaking events. Do not forget all the adapters to your pro gear Sound and weight are great except for white noise when speaking.
