May not be worth the tradeoffs

Apr 11, 2014

The product seems to work adequately but it is poorly constructed. The belt clips feel like they will break off the first time someone uses them.

Great product for the price

Jan 31, 2013

I use the product to film my video tutorial series about Geocaching. We utilize up to two microphones which feed to either my zoom recorder or the HD camcorder. They work as expected with no real setup to speak with. The sound is more than acceptable again for the price you are paying. One suggestion would be a little more volume control on the fly but other than that I like them.

Lapel mic and transmitter

Nov 7, 2012

I purchased this so that I could run two mics on the same receiver and this works perfectly for that. I was happy with the price for the Azden products and their performance has been excellent.

Great item

Jun 19, 2012

I bought this transmitter to replace one I lost many years ago. It is works like it always did even with the older receiver. A good fit for my Panasonic TM900. This little set up is right for the price. You can spend a lot more for the same results as the Azden. I don't know what took me so long to replace it.

Good entry level wireless

Jul 5, 2011

I've been using a WLT/Pro system for more than a decade for corporate videos, first with a Sony VX 1000 and now with a Canon Vixia HF200. I use both wireless lavs and wireless handhelds. We chose it because at the time (around 1999?) we wanted to be able to run two mics at once into one receiver and it was the only duel-channel wireless available. For the price, the system can't be beat. The only problem I have with it is occasional static in the... Show More

Works Fine

Dec 27, 2010

This is exactly what my chorus already had, but ours is getting a bit long in the tooth, so we got a new one. It works great with the speaker we already have, and we're ready if/when the old one conks out!

Affordable Quality

Jul 8, 2010

Easy to use, light weight and the sound quality is very good. It is easy to leave the unit on or to accidentally turn it on, so be careful. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.

Good deal

Jun 6, 2010

Pretty good deal for a wireless transmitter, but take care if you already has the WLX-PRO, because if you are trying to use two transmitters with one receiver there will be some noises with two transmitters working.

This little giant gets the job done.

Dec 9, 2009

I purchased the Azden Mic & Transmitter as an economical way to get better audio from wedding videos and, for the price, the system exceeded my expectations. It tested well at up to 150' as long as there were no obstructions. It is not broadcast grade sound quality, but it was certainly a vast improvement over the camera's onboard shotgun mic. In fact, after hearing the results of the first one, I bought another mic for my second camera. The very... Show More
