Pick another monitor, bad build quality!
I had this monitor before. This monitor is nice but be warned if you place it down on its face it will damage the screen and ACER will not honor the warranty! I recommend you go with another monitor that has better build quality. All inputs in the back are vertical so you must use them by feel. It is unacceptable to be this fragile for some an expensive monitor!

Clear and Colorful Monitor
The Monitor has vivid and bright colors, the clarity of text and images is fantastic. Other than the box looking old everything was in perfect condition, no dings or dead pixels. This monitor is a big improvement coming from an old HP LP3065 and LP2465. Great Monitor / Poor Packaging.
Loves this monitor, above all my expectations. 3 star only, the packaging was defective, the monitor and enclosed accessories were thrown all over the place. The Styrofoam was completely broken. the Monitor actually broke thru Styrofoam, Luckily the monitor was not damaged. Buyer be aware.

Very Impressed
I was originally going to buy the LG or Viewsonic version of this monitor. I work in Lightroom and Capture One a good bit and use other image editing programs. SRGB is really all I need and this delivers 100%. I have minimal light bleed in the upper right corner, but that has no impact on the actual use of the monitor for me. Best bang for the buck!
Considering the LG, Dell, and this Acer 38" model all source & use the same IPS panel, I prefer the Acer over the others for sheer value for the money. Image quality is essentially the same among the competing models, so what I like on the Acer that the other models do not have is the small details added the Acer, such as the LED light-strip, and the easy UI.
