I have been a professional Canon shooter for a long time. I use the great 1 DX II. I never thought I would find a smaller, lighter camera to match the image quality of the Canon. But, this is it, especially in low light. While the Sony doesn't match the build quality of the Canon, it's sensor technology is equal. I also have the Sony RX10 III which I use primarily as a travel camera. But, the A7 III far outshines it in image quality. I bought the 24-105 Sony lens which I also recommend.

Great body, Eye AF is a game changer
What I like: Eye AF is absolutely amazing. Finds the eye nearly anywhere in the frame and is very quick to focus and track. Huge benefit! Excellent camera body, some ergonomic complaints.
Of course, this is a great camera -- exactly why it is the world's top-selling camera body at the time of writing, so no need to laud all of the excellent things, but a few minor ergonomics are annoying...the shutter button feels soft and without any real detent to feel when it is fully depressed (far different than the a7rIV), and a few other button complaints, but all just relative to what's out there. Nothing to stop the show.

Love it, but not the kit lens
The camera is utterly amazing. So many features and awesome low light performance. It takes a little to get used to, but after that, there's no going back. Love canon but love sony a lot more. Will defenitly look to buy some prime lenses, the kit lens does its job, but don't expect much more from it.

Amazing camera!
Best decision of my life... this camera is amazing for both photo and video. I mostly use it for shooting videos but when it comes to photography it does the work pretty good. 10/10 for the product and for BH!

Great upgrade from D90
I upgraded from a Nikon D90 to Sony A7 ii. That was one of the best upgrades I have ever done. For an amateur, being able to see the exposure before taking a photo helps me take photo more in manual mode. But A7 ii too was too noisy indoors. So I upgraded to A7 iii, and the auto focus improvements and the ability to touch and change focus are really awesome improvements. Plus the battery performance is a very welcome change. Great camera
Just getting started with this camera but it feels natural already. Solid but not heavy. The 24-70 lens I ordered with it gives me versatility in my photos. So far I see no negatives with this camera.

I love this camera!
I have zero regret about buying this camera, which forced me to buy all new lenses, and changing brands from Nikon. The extra battery in the kit I purchased now prompts a warning (since the last update from Sony), but everything works great. I don't use the bag, so I have no opinion on it. Nice to have at least one fast SD card come in the kit, so all around a winner.

Switched from Canon
I am an amateur photographer who switched from Canon to Sony (moving countries created this opportunity). I like the silence of my A7III (mirrorless) and the built in stabilization, that is a huge advantage. The built in intervalometer is also great, I don't need to install any third party firmware (aka MagicLantern). I still biased towards Canon Color profile so I am doing a little bit more of post processing but the end result with this camera is way better when compared with what I used to have.

Amazing Combination
Honestly most of these combo kits with other items, especially on other markets, are cheap products. However this tripod and camera bag are High quality. I literally love the tripod and the bag is awesome as well. Fits everything perfectly and even has this part to slide on to your luggage. I am soooo satisfied with this purchase.

Amazing
I had the Sony A7ii and finally upgraded to this beast. The autofocus is amazing and has not let me down. That was one of the biggest reasons I switched since I was switching to more of a professional side of shooting and couldn't have my camera missing the shots I needed. I also do some action shots and this camera does not let me down shooting at 10fps which is ridiculous. I have no regrets purchasing this camera and I can't wait to produce more content with it.
