Great mic for run and gun
I have this with my Canon XF100 and purchased another for my Canon XA30. Just directional enough for run and gun. You have to watch out with a Rycote dead cat windscreen; full zoom out may show up in the corner of the shot. I use the foam one that's included with the XA30.

Incredibly warm sounding!
I am currently using this mic on my Panasonic HMC-150 and the audio quality is astounding! I was looking for an upgrade for the Panasonic MIC150 shotgun microphone that was originally mounted on my camera because I was never fully satisfied with the sound quality. Great shot shotgun for on camera use.
This is a great short shotgun mic for professional on camera use. The length is perfect for broadcast cameras especially the Panasonic Varicam series. I wish Shure made a reasonably priced stereo model like this.

Exactly what I wanted/needed!
These mics (I bought 2) are exactly what I needed for a small video studio. I now have excellent clarity with little room noise even at a softer db level (which we all know happens with people on film, they suddenly get very quiet).
