Great choice and value for 49 4k TV - lots to like here
Background: I've now had this TV for about a week, and used it during different times of day with different content. 55 Cinema at it's Best
I only buy LG Televisions, my last LG was working fine, but not a Smart TV. This new UM7300 has a fantastic picture, which is so deep in-depth, full of color, and sharp, plus you have complete control manually or through auto select of many features. Ok now I get the 4k hype
Decided to take the plunge into going from 1080 to a 4k tv. I have always been skeptical of smart tvs as I love my appletv but MAN! WebOS is SUPER handy and everything looks super crisp. Everything is fine on this television, as far as I am concerned. I have a higher-end Samsung as well, and there is definitely a picture quality difference. I'm a big fan of LG TVs. I have a 4 year old LG 40 LCD that I love. We use LG OLED 55 and 65 at work at a professional post production facility. All great. 2 things stand out about this model. TruMotion hard to turn off
It's a very nice set, with nice picture, wifi, etc. My only problem was that default TruMotion effect which makes every movie look awful, like it's a soap opera shot in 30 fps. Initially, I could not find how to turn it off, because they've changed the menus from what I could find by googling the problem, and my first call to their tech support line was not helpful. They did set me up though with a visit from a service technician which seemed overkill for such a problem. Eventually I solved it but putting the picture into Expert Mode, which cancelled TruMotion and all is good.

Nice TV and Monitor. On-time delivery.
This Tv was for a home office / guest room to be used for extending a laptop monitor and for guests as a TV. As a monitor it is fantastic with clarity and viewable all the way to the edges. Setting it up as a monitor is 2 clicks. It was rated #1 as a small TV for monitor use. At first my wife was disturbed by its size but after using it a week she loves it. Now her 2 large monitors at her home office seem too small. Havent used it as an HD TV yet so cant comment on that except to say my 14 year old hasnt complained. Im not a videophile so my opinion here would count anyway.

Pretty good, but...
Almost everything about this TV is good. Picture quality, sound, setup... They're all quite good for a TV at this price. Here's the but; in attaching the legs, do not add *any* torque. Yes, you are advised to twist on the legs into the slot. I did so, quite gently and the tab holding the left leg broke. So even more gently, with just the smallest amount of twist I could muster, I did the right leg, and pop, the weak plastic tab on the right broke. Plan on buying extra sets of legs or a bracket for a wall mount.

4 the price, this is the 1!
What can I say? Great color, great picture, great price! This is my second LG tv and I have been happy with both. I did have another brand in between but I quickly sent it back. It just couldnt match the quality I was accustomed to with my LG. The viewing angle on this tv is great. The odd brand one was terrible even just a little off center. Not this tv, its very nice all over the room. If you need viewing angle, this is the one.

Excellent TV
Purchased this TV about 4 months ago. I liked it so much I bought another for the bedroom. Excellent quality and a great value. The TV has a great picture and surprisingly good sound. Webos is a great interface, easy-to-navigate. The TV has wide viewing angles so it's great for large rooms. I highly recommend this television.

Good tv, colors are very brigh
Its a decent quality tv, the colors are very bright specially noticeable at night. I also own a sony brand wich is of a far better quality, lg os is very confusing.
