I was asked to review these when I just bought a pair for my son for Christmas. So, while I have not used THIS headphone set, I have used an identical set for the past 8 months. Good sound quality, but unintuitive buttons/controls
The build quality and sound quality on these are nice, I have nothing poor to say about these on that front. The earcups are a nice leather/leatherette (unsure which), but the headband is wrapped in a cloth material. That's not really an issue, but I feel that it will get dirty easier. First, the B & H Photos prices and services are top rate! Only had these cans for a few weeks but the sound of these headphones are great! Instantly connects to Bluetooth on my iPad, iPhone, nano iPod, and Bluetooth enabled table radio, and range is decent, only tried Bluetooth from an iPad at about 50-60 feet outdoors, but still had signal. Lower midrange very weak
The upper midrange sounds find, but the lower midrange is just missing. You can hear the lower-midrange by pressing the headphones tightly against your ears, but that is not practical for normal use. Actually, in a comparison with my (corded) Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones, these sound really bad, but they are still better than, and way more comfortable than, most earbuds. Got it because my Beat worn out quick within 1 year, so want to get another one with a reasonable price. UNEXPECTED EARLY DEATH
I purchased my JBL E45BT headphones getting close to 2 months ago. In they were nice, cosmetically beautiful and very comfy, as soon as I would them for storage the left ear would quit working. They would randomly begin to work again, here it is now 11/29/18 and now they just disconnect from the bluetooth connection at will. Good: much better sound quality than any ear buds or cheaper ($20-$40) on-ear phones I've used. Battery life is outstanding. Using intermittently at work, they last through the week on a single charge. Probably 2-3 hours of music and 2-3 hours of standby each day. Bluetooth range is outstanding when paired to an iPhone SE. Sad to be dissapointedby JBL
I am an ardent JBL fan and own multiple bluetooth speakers from their line. I bought this pair with 2 objectives, one to listen to music at work and manage to block out the din of the open office, and two to take calls. Although this pair does pack a punch with the sound, i find the Bluetooth connectivity stutters every so often particularly with the iphone. On the calls front, i quote colleague from this mornings conference call - 'please don't use those new headphones they are horrible - makes you sound like your calling from the moon'

Ear Candy?
You may or may not agree, but, like most jbl products, I found these headphones to be quite acceptable, even labeling them ear candy. With deep bass, juicy mids, and clear presence filled highs, I really couldn't put them down! That is, I didn't want to stop listening to them! Once they got going, every song was just as pleasant sounding as eating a bon bon. This is where I had to decide, these earphones are simply ear candy. Give them a try yourself. If you can't seem to stop listening to them, maybe you, too, will call them ear candy!

OK when you are sitting quietly
They sound good, connect easily, have really good battery life. I use mainly with my ipad to watch movies or iPhone to listen to podcasts. My only issue is they fall off easily. If I am sitting and tip my head down they will fall off my head. Likewise if I am outdoors and walking, If I look down to see where I amwalking as I step off a curb they will fall off. I have other wired on ear headphones that do not have this issue and use them when I am active.

BRING BACK THE E40BT!!!
Sound quality is the same but build is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and not to my liking. They don't fit on as snuggly as the e40s. The ear cushions aren't removable and after awhile begins to peel away from the ear. Just for this you have to return the whole thing to have Samsung replace them. Now I'm having power button and charging problems. I bought these in July!!! E40BTs were MUCH better.

Good headphones
I got these for my girlfriend and she loves the color. When we first opened these headphones we were unable to activate the bluetooth connection. It was defective. I called JBL support directly and they were able to correct the problem in about 3 minutes. The sound is very good and the connection is good. I got them as a gift for her and she's happy with them.

Good sound & design, battery life not great
I'm pretty happy with these, very good sound and design. But even when I pull it off the charger and start using them, the battery seems to run down after about an hour, forcing me to switch to wired earbuds. It is inconsistent, sometimes will last longer than an hour, but mostly if I get through a movie, that is good.

Tho weeks later it won't turn on again
I used it like a week properly, i charged it with the original cables and everything. The problem was it always have to been charged before use. But suddenly it didn't work. And now I can't use the wireless function again. I Can't apply the warranty because i'm in other country now.

BlueTooth Doesnt work
The bluetooth connection is terrible. I have to connect / disconnect several times or forget the device in the bluetooth panel of my Macpro and reconnect. After a while of not using them, I have to repeat this process to use these headphones or the sound will sound interrupted.

Crisp Clean and Clear..
After purchasing these headphones at a great price I was blown away buy the crisp clear sound and ease of use of these JBL E45T headphones.I use them nightly at the gym making my workout so much more enjoyable listening to my favorite music as if I were in a studio.

Great Sound and Comfortable
Great sound on both Bluetooth and wired. These are the most comfortable on-the-ear headphones I have ever used. I can listen for hours without fatigue. Ear cushions dampen ambient sound very well. Battery life is impressive. JBL quality throughout

Great Value
Just what I was looking for to replace my bluetooth headset for the car. The headphones block out most of the road noise and great for phone calls. The only negative is the size of the print of the instruction manual and how poorly it's written.

Seriously Ive never been happier with a pair of headphones. No lag. Easy on the ears. Sounds amazing. Microphone picks up my voice over everything else super well. I love em. These are my go to conference headphones. Get em and be happy!

Nice fit, good sound.
I can't tell the difference between good sound and bad sound but I can tell you that this does not have bad sound. The headphones is tight on my head and I have a pretty small, but I like it because it doesn't fall off when I'm jogging.

Good for general use.
Good for office use & maybe for travel. Not for critical music listeners just on a tight budget. The vocal range on these are also good for TV & streaming services. I wouldn't consider them to use with my home audio system.

Excellent quality in a comfortable on-ear headphone
Typical JBL sound: well balanced, with good clarity and strong presence. Bass end is modest, unobtrusive; phones don't try to sound bigger than they are. The result makes for very pleasant listening.

After 2.5 months, done.
Purchased 01/24/2018, used sporadically. Power button became stuck on 04/07/2018, can't turn on. Ok sound, fits ok, wish the ears were bigger, cheap power button/faulty manufacturing.
