As others have said, its a pretty basic piece of equipment, but it works very well with no apparent loss in sound quality. I have this thing daisy-chained with a more expensive Grado extension cable and the sound is still top notch. Recommended.

Great long length
I love how long the cable is, so if you have a mic in another room , you can stretch it that far. The cable plugs in very snug and not loose. Really love it.

Right length for TV
I plug this into my sound system to watch TV from the sofa hen my partner wants to sleep before I do. The cord on my Sony headphones will not reach the TV

Stereo 1/4 Female Phone to 1/4 Male Phone TRS Cable - 10'
I use this cable as an extension for headphones in a recording studio environment where quality cables are a necessity as poor quality cables add noise to the signal and that is totally unacceptable. Hosa Technology cables are well built, and durable for long lasting usage.

Very good quality at a great price.
I needed to replace my very old, coiled headphone cable which had begun to cut off the sound when moved about. I wanted an inexpensive but well made replacement. I concluded that a straight cable actually takes less storage space than a coiled one. I discovered this Hosa on the B&H website at an unbelievably low delivered cost. Stereo extension Cable Hosa Great Buy
This is a great buy. If you were to buy a similar cable at @ or just about any other chain outlet it would cost at least thirty or forty dollars and the quality would not be any better. Good low cost headphone extension cord
I use this as an extension cord especially for my Grado headphones. It is plugged into the headphone jack of a Benchmark DAC1 or Rotel preamp. This is the second Hosa product that I bought from B&H, the other being a 3.5mm mini headphone cable for my portable rig. Both are sturdy, well built no-nonsense products from the pro audio world. They are very inexpensive but get the job done. On the down side, they don't have gold plated jacks, exotic sheaths or other luxuries of high-end audio cables. This is not a problem for me in any way.
