I usually never buy EXTENDED Warranties with AppleCare being the big exception. I really researched whether this was worth it. I went to several forums and reviews on the internet. DJI Care Refresh Runaround
I purchased a DJI Care Refresh for a Mavic Air last July and within a couple of weeks the drone crashed into the ocean. I uploaded the Air flight log to the DJI server numerous times to process my claim. Having never used any type of RC anything, car or drone etc, It was just simple common sense to purchase this protection for my new Mavic Pro. Just in case...
It's an insurance policy. Fortunately I have not had to use it, but I have a friend who has recently used it twice for the same purchase. On the first occasion he was flying his drone in reverse under a bridge and accidently nicked the bridge on his way through. The drone landed in the water. B&H automatically registers DJI Care Refresh with DJI
I purchased a DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 drone along with DJI Care Refresh on the same order from B&H. DJI is clear that DJI Care Refresh has to be registered within 48 hours of first activation of the drone. I activated the drone on Tuesday afternoon the day it was received. A Must Have
Wouldn't think of buying a DJI drone without it! I have not had to use it and hope I never will but I feel so much more at ease flying knowing that I have it. Purchasing it at the same time with the Mavic was effortless, just add to cart and B&H took care of all the red tape with DJI. I only gave 4 stars because I really don't know how well it goes if you really use it but most reviewers that have needed it gave it good rating so I did not hesitate to get it.

No need for Paperwork
No instructions available for use, so I called DJI to register and my surprise was that nothing is necessary. The process: B&H sends the purchase record, which includes the Ship and Gimbal S/N. 48 hours later, DJI sends you an email with the Agreement Number. When you need it (I hope happens), you provide the registration email and that's it. Valid for twelve (12) months. I wish I didn't need, but if you need it, it's peace of mind to have it.

Automatically registered with DJI by B&H
So far I haven't needed to use DJI Care Refresh...and I hope I never do but it's nice to know I have protection if I need it. One thing I didn't see pointed out was that B&H automatically registered my DJI Care Refresh with DJI about a day and a half after I received my drone. I received the drone of Tuesday afternoon and got the email from DJI saying DJI Care Refresh had been activated for my drone on Thursday morning.

No confirmation
You have to purchase this plan with a new drone. After your new drone is activated you have 48 hours to register the CARE plan. Confirmation number e-mails are promised but never arrived. I e-mailed DJI (no reply) and called and used on-line chat. No straight answers there but I was able to find out that somebody actually did indeed activate my plan. They just never told me.

Flycam
B&H offered the product I was purchasing for Christmas for my husband. I paid no shipping and got sales tax credited back through a B&H program. Although my item was on back order for a few weeks, it made it in plenty of time and was well packaged. I have purchased other items at B&H and will continue to do so in the future. Prices are very competitive.

Don't Fly Without It
Mavic Air is a very sophisticated machine, with many settings and capabilities. If you are an accomplished flyer you might avoid an accident. Otherwise an accident is likely. I never take out extended warranties, but I did for the Air and I'm glad I did. I crashed the drone, and within a week I had a brand new one for $69.

ANOTHER B&H ADVENTURE
I purchased a Mavic Pro 2, Extra Fly Package and Drone Aviator Hood for using my iPad and Great carrying case...B&H, was right there with everything I needed and as usual had everything I wanted and made it happen Fast...I am now enjoying My DJI Drone to the Fullest Extent... Not planning to crack up my drone
I am taking baby steps. I expect to very conservative in using higher speeds, in flying closer to objects, in flying drone out of sight. Having the insurance will give me the courage to try the next step when i am ready. I hope it will never be needed. Then i will feel like a competent success drone flyer.

Never owned a drone before the Phantom Pro 4+
Took my drone out of the box charged up the batteries set it out in my back yard and was flying within half an hour of receiving my drone. I have now owned it for two weeks and am pretty good at it . Use it in my business (contractor) and it is an excellent tool Phantom Pro 4+ you hit a home run

I would suggest you have this if you have a DJI Drone
I was kind of scared to fly at first, but since I have this Care Refresh it made it a lot easier. I am usually pretty careful with flying, but you never know if the controller messes up, or if something happens then you are covered. I haven't had to use it and hopefully I never do.

Bad software updates failure
We opened up our drone for the second time after buying and new firmware updates rendered it unusable. An unknown error code means it wont fly at all. No info online, tech support says they dont even know what the error code is. Will this happen the entire time I own this? Not happy.

Hoping I dont have to use it
I gave it a 4 star rating, its good insurance, havent had to use it since I just purchased the Mavic Air, but have heard some good things about having this added safety just incase it has issues or I have issues being a newbie to flying drones of this size.

Not enough time to say
Even that o didn't use it yet it will offer you piece of mind. Know what you are paying for. It will give you priority in repair and deeply discounted price for replacement or repair but you stll have to pay. Thumbs up to dji for including water damage !!!

Unpredictable behavior
Unfortunately, I had a very strange experience with the drone; it took off and apparently something interfered with it and it was almost like someone else took control of it and it crashed damaging two of the propeller and the gimble.

I highly recommend
I highly recommend for your piece of mind. It offered a low cost replacement option if you crash your brand new drone. Plus if you buy with the Sri e, you get it digitally registered, no paperwork to fill out

surprising effect
so my crazy self crashed my spark into a basketball hoop at about 30mph. it wasnt pretty. Filed a claim and all told a little two weeks later Im back in the air.
