I do like it, it's just got 2 massive flaws
So, why the contrary title/rating? This case is an absolute joy to build in for the most part, with tons of room, lots of cable management built in, and it is one of the few cases you can still find that has an optical drive bay. That being one of the largest reasons I picked this case. It has 2 flaws though, one being in the claimed specs and build design. It claims to support a 280mm radiator in the top, however my Corsair H100i Pro 280mm wa... Show More

First time build
Although this is a mid tower case, much to my surprise it is much taller then my HP mid tower I am replacing. Other then size I wish this case was avail with a metal side instead of glass. The locks on the tool less 5.25 bays are flimsy plastic and actually a bit difficult to use. This is where MC should have spent a bit more money on better parts. Case includes two fans which along with a cpu Noctua air cooler seems to be all I need to cool i9 9900k. I really like the 4 usb ports on top and the handles are great for moving case for cleaning or doing mods.

My Personal Review
A large and roomy case inside and very easy to work on and inside as well. Removable hdd cage is nice to remove and adjustable to top or bottom of the case. Stock 3x 140 mm fans 2 in front 1 in back and room on top with magnet removable dust filter for 2x120 mm fans. The case isnt to heavy and has nice sturdy handles for carrying the case. It does feel a little plastic , its got some plastic part's. Nice clear dark see thru side panel also.

A Tank of a Case
Got my case today and have to say its a tank in the most positive way. There is nothing plastic or flimsy about this case. Im so impressed Ive decided rather than rehome an old motherboard and CPU in it Im ordering a whole new build from B&H. The case is massive and extremely flexible. I cant imagine having a problem with any build I go with. BTW the way there is nothing flimsy or plastic with this case. IT IS SOLID.

NEW - MASTERCASE MC500 MID TOWER CASE
The best bang for the buck for your new build. I didn't need anything fancy or lit up like a christmas tree. I did need the front drive area for the blue-ray/dvd recorder/player. Makes life easier for putting in the main drivers on the initial setup. Also wife needed to play her DVD's. Lots of room inside with many configurations you can do. Lots of storage areas for your drives. Lots of air-flow too.

Awesome case has everything
Will fit the largest motherboards, liquid coolers and has reconfigurable hard drive cages to change locations. Will take a 360mm radiator 4 x 3.5 drives and 2 x 2.5 hard drive spaces. Comes with 2 fans. power supply location is on the bottom so its not top heavy and a magnetic fan cover on top for easy cleaning.
