Great upgrade from my 10 year old MacBook

Great purchase and perfect service
Bought this iMac to replace my 2011 model that had given up the ghost. I ordered and paid for it from the train and set it for pick-up. When I arrived, I simply went to the cashier, showed my idea, got the box, which was waiting behind the extremely helpful man at the counter, and was on my way. Took all of 5 minutes. Apple and B&H: the perfect consumer experience!

Great and Easy Set-up
Mac products are more expensive however they are worth the extra. The unit being replaces is just short of ten years old. The product is worth the investment but the customer support is outstanding also. I have called apple help numerous times and without fail they have been there for me! B&H is also a ten with great service and support. Their shipping is timely and predictable. Thanks

I hope it gets better if I buy some more ram
I read the reviews before I ordered, saw people editing video so figured fast enough for photos. It is way slower than my MacBook Pro late 2013. So bad in fact it won't even do an HDR merge in light room. Trying to use a brush in photo shop is not doable, the brush just hangs and jumps around. I will order some ram and see what happens. The MacBook Pro only has 16gig of ram. Every thing else is nice, love the 27 screen. Like how easy it was to set up using iCloud.

Brand New 2 year old model
This 2017 iMac is very powerful and comes with the brand new Apple warranty. I usually buy the latest and greatest but this version saved me $750 and is extremely powerful.

Push the power button and the iMac boots in less than 25 seconds. Bridge, Photoshop, Lightroom, Word. Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint; each application loads in considerably less than 20 seconds, even with all the others running. Very pleased!

First time using iMac it's quiet and quick. Beautiful display. I haven't learned all the tricks on it yet, but hoping it outlasts the PCs I've had in the past.

An excellent machine with an excellent B&H price!
There isn't much to not like about this iMac. It's quick, image resolution is outstanding and the RAM upgrade support is a nice addition. This is a highly recommended all-in-one computer from Apple Inc.

I like it, but am a little surprised how it's not that much faster than my older Mac. I would recommend going to the '19 models for Photoshop CC users.

Love the monitor, fit and finish...but
Not enough computing power to edit images in PS and LR. So I sold it. My 2014 MBP, i7 4core was faster. Needed an upgrade and mistakenly bought this. The monitor is spectacular, but I now have a 2018 MBP i9, 6core. No turning back. I'll use my Dell 24 monitor as the secondary monitor. It was/is a fantastic price from B&H, plus their service is, as always, excellent. Love B&H.

Just as promised
I have been using the new 27 iMAC for about two weeks. It replaced and 2012 model 21 iMAC which had really gotten slow. I know that I did not purchase the latest model but the price and performance capabilities of this machine are close to the ideal sweet spot for me and how I plan to use the machine.

Wish I switched from Windows long ago
This is my first ever Apple, other than an iPod touch. I had been a Windows user for the last 25 years. This system is awesome. Admittidly I am learning, and have a long way to go, its been only 3 months, but its fast ( after upgrading the RAM from 8 to 24GB), startup is super quick, graphics are unreal, and since I use it to edit photos, this is really important to me. Great machine
This was the only27 in my budget. Im glad I went with the bigger screen. A little slower boot than my SSD MacBook Air, but so much faster than the 2008 iMac it replaced. Great machine for all Aarons home use, too often we get hung up on specs and dont consider what we will actually be doing most of the time

I was all set to give this a five star review as I did for my old iMac until began to setup this new iMac.. Then I regretted that I didn't do my homework before ordering this. What I don't like: 1.
