I bought this MacBook Pro 13.3" with 16GB Ram 256GB HD almost 2 and half months ago. This is my first Mac Book ever. So far the computer is working fine; it can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. It does not get hot - just gets warm near the vent area when I am doing multitasking, but it's OK and understandable because fans turn on. Best laptop I've had in years
I was a Mac guy in the 80's but was forced (at work) to go Windows. I have been pretty happy over the last 30 years with my Windows experience but when I retired I started moving back to Apple. Everything I needed!

HUGE, borderline hostile step backward
Where do I start? A+ for appearance. D for functionality for a professional photographer. 4 Thunderbolt ports. Thunderbolt/USBC is a terrible design if you move a computer at all. If you touch cord these cords at all, disks unmount and the charger comes loose. Your iPhone probably came with a USB 3 cord. Incompatible with this machine: you need an adapter. The decline of Apple
It's not terrible. Maybe overpriced and mediocre would be a more appropriate description. Built well, feels good, Thunderbolt 3 rocks, but...
Apple's always been great about building rock solid products, and the build quality is not lacking at all here. However, I am a little disappointed with this purchase. The CPU (Core i5) seems to hit Turbo when doing the most trivial things, especially in Google Chrome. BEST DECISION IVE MADE
Converting to MacOS was seamless. I watched a video on Youtube to learn some trackpad shortcuts and it was immensely helpful. The free G-Drive which came in a bundle with the MacBook was also extremely useful. The only downside of this MacBook model is that if dust gets caught under the key, the key will become a bit less clicky. Defective?
Havent even had this for a full 2 weeks and I just received an email from apple stating that my state drive could be faulty and I could potentially lose all my data saved on my laptop. Sleek but only one port
This laptop is half the width of mymid-2010 MacBook Pro that is now running at a snail's pacewith 400 page Word docs with only 4 gigs of memory. The new one has 16 gigs of memory and everything is running lickity-split. The one major disappointment is that there's only ONE side port for USB-C only. Tiny, almost insufficient hard drive capacity
While, this is an elegant, lightweight and fast little laptop, be awarethat this basic model ships with a tiny 128 GB SSD. This is too small to do serious work, so don't think of this computer as a 'Pro' machine. B&H is fine; the 2017 MacBook Pro is a huge step backwards
I held on to my 2012 MacBook Pro for as long as I could, then bought this 2017 model at the dawn of 2020. I have been a long time user of Apple laptops. I recently left a 2012 MB Pro to buy this 2017 version. It has been incredibly disappointing. I'm writing this review on a Lenovo. 3 week old machine has hardware issues
I am wondering if this business might sell refurbished Macbook Pros without disclosing they are refurbished. My brand new machine has perpendicular purple lines to the left side of the screen. Allows me to maximize my productivity!
Previously, I was using a company issued windows laptop. Major upgrade from early 2011!!
First impression after upgrading my wifes early 2011 13 MBP to 2017 is that is has lost some serious weight. Its like carrying an 8.5X11 writing pad. Keyboard feels very different. This is the first Mac I've owned, and I'm very pleased with the experience so far. In terms of software, it is clear to me that macOS had much more attention to detail put into its design and functionality than Windows. USB-C Hubs have issues with WiFi Connection - Bad Design
Ive been an Apple fan for my entire career but this MacBook Pro is most likely going to be my last Apple computer. The USB-C ports are located by the WiFi. So, when you connect a USB-C Hub it interferes with your internet connection. Ive now gone through 3 USB-C Hubs and they all have the same issue when plugged in, the internet connection fails!
