Kit comes with all needed goodies, lengthy xlr cable, XLR to 1/8th plug for video, various boom pole mounts, and wind screens. Sound is really good.

Of course, there are better mics out there. For the price, however, the Vidpro XM-55 does the job. The extras that come in the kit are a nice bonus.

I attached it to my Canon XA10 and it worked wonders. Shot a concert and it picked up minute sounds from a un-micced percussion. plus it works as a Voice Over mic in a pinch.

I use it with my Canon T3i and for some reason the 1/8 inch cable doesn't work with it very well. It's a descent mic though and sounds good for what I use it for.

Bought this microphone to be used on school video projects. For what we need it to do it works wonders. Have not tested it outside yet, but indoors it works wonders.

I tried screwing handle to the mic holder and it popped right of.I haven't even used it. The mic itself tested ok.

This mic is a good in a pinch. I attached it to my Canon EOS Rebel T3i and was pleased for the most part with the sound. The enclosed wire from the male/female end could be slightly longer.
