Had to replace my expensive headphones at short notice and these headphones are great value. Good overall sound from them specially for the price. Other headphones of similar price that I've had the sound was very tinny and an overall let down, however these were a pleasant surprise. If your looking for some good headphones at a low price then I recommend these.

Bought these for watching films and TV on my laptop, which has very poor sound reproduction. Didn't expect the earth, but have been very pleasantly surprised. The quality of sound is excellent. The stereo effect had me looking over my shoulder at one point. Would certainly recommend these. I note, that the catalogue shows them in the " children's" section, which mislead me at first. Don't be fooled, these are quite suitable for adults.

Brought for my 14 son for christmas after his friend broke his exspensive beats, he told me apon listening to his music and mixing his tunes on his pc that these are better than his old exspenieve pair, great bass but super comfy and light to wear apparently! Who would of thought this was better than a £200+ headphones!!??Goes to show your paying for the celeb label not quality! Really great price, saved £12 buying from Argos compared to other leading company's. Thank you Argos!

A excellent pair of head phones. The ability of folding enables them easily transported if not in use.

Really like these headphones - my first over-ear ones as I usually have in-ear. Took a bit of getting used to wearing and they can hurt your outer ear a bit if worn for a long time (couple of hours). Sound is really good, I don't have to have my music turned up as loud as I did with the in-ear to still be able to hear it well. Great for commute as although non noise-cancelling, they do a pretty good job of blocking out outside noise anyway!

When I was a kid Sony were the bees knees in technology for the average person, especially the music side of things. That's no longer the case. This is the second Sony set of headphones that I've been very disappointed with. The sound is way too bassy and not much else. You could argue that they are cheap but there are much better sounding headphones out there that cost even less than this. Would not recommend this product.

I bought it so I could block out surrounding sounds, and it does work. The sound is clear and soft. The headset is adjustable which is good if it's a bit tight. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a bit of quiet (especially if you've got noisy siblings or other noisy/ annoying relatives. The price is an acceptable price to pay for them. 8.5/10!

in my job I need headphones as I wear them on and off most of the day. These are great, lightweight and comfy. I am sure there are better sounding but probably no many at these price. Build quality too is great, both my kids have these and they sling them around and chuck em on the floor and the hold together really well. These are a really good value product.

The sound quality is excellent (good frequency response of 10 Hz - 24 kHz) and the headphones are comfortable. The ability to fold up is a "plus". A small negative point, probably to be expected at such a reasonable price and presumably due to the design and construction, is that occasionally there are (physical) clicky/scratchy/creaky noises. I might not have noticed them but the first, faulty, pair was very bad on the right side - returned them and the replacement is considerably better.

I already had a set of these headphones which I love and have used for many years now until they were falling apart. When it came to buying a new pair I went for the same style although they have changed slightly. I like the fact that they have changed the material on the ear parts as it was coming off my old set but this new material looks like that won't happen. I'm really happy with my purchase and love using them. They're bright and comfy and the sound levels are good.

Second pair purchased for my son. He uses them everyday and the first pair had stopped working (after about a year and a lot of misuse!!) Excellent price, good quality and very durable. Will be upgrading to a wireless pair but will still use these for audio books. Good price, quality and style. Very pleased.

Overall they are ok, just the maximum volume isnt as high as I'd like, i do aloy of bus journeys and these dont go loud enough to combat screaming children, however they are comfy and there is alot of noises you can't hear with them on. For the price point i think they are ok, i will probably be replacing them at some point with a better pair, but maybe i was expecting a bit much from them considering their price. In summary ok if you need something for now or if loud volume concerns you.

I first bought a pair of these headphones years ago and they have been the best and lasted longer than any others I have had. When they did finally break I knew that I had to try and get the same ones again. The only update to them is that they are much easier to store now. Would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Great sound, looks good and is compact so can easily be folded up into your bag! Bought for a plane journey so didn’t want to spend a fortune- which I didn’t and worked very well. Definitely recommend .

Decent pair of headphones which look lovely. The ear pad folding mechanism seems to work quite well and they fold into a nice small package. There are a few drawbacks however. The speaker drivers have been calibrated to seriously increase the bass of the audio. For me this doesn't sound particularly good, but you get used to it. They also tend to hurt my ears after prolonged use, even with the movable headband.
