For the price, these headphones excel, far outclassing anything two to three time the price – I know from experience, I tried and returned most of them. They are well designed, good looking, light, comfortable and deliver true sound. Unless your thing is massive and unnaturally weighted bass you can buy these with confidence.

Great headphones, do a good job for the price and the sound quality was great. Not too much leakage either. My only complaint is they slip off my head a bit but that might just be because I wear them over my hair. Otherwise fab budget headphones.

These are excellent headphones, I've had 2 of these and there's an annoyance with the lead if you're not careful. Firstly the jack easily slips out if you're on the move. And if you get the wire twisted it will NEVER twist back. Look after that wire at all times! The head gear is perfection, most comfortable I've ever had, can't feel them on you, so lightweight and they don't slip off. I've had lots of headphones paying a lot more but these are by far the best.

Great set of headphones as expected from Sony. If you’re after budget headphones you can’t go far wrong. Comfortable to wear and they are good looking, better than ones costing considerably more. Sound quality is clear but I only use them for Skypeing etc to cut out background interference. Have played music also and find them acceptable for the price paid. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Brought for my 14 son for christmas after his friend broke his exspensive beats, he told me apon listening to his music and mixing his tunes on his pc that these are better than his old exspenieve pair, great bass but super comfy and light to wear apparently! Who would of thought this was better than a £200+ headphones!!??Goes to show your paying for the celeb label not quality! Really great price, saved £12 buying from Argos compared to other leading company's. Thank you Argos!

Bought these for watching films and TV on my laptop, which has very poor sound reproduction. Didn't expect the earth, but have been very pleasantly surprised. The quality of sound is excellent. The stereo effect had me looking over my shoulder at one point. Would certainly recommend these. I note, that the catalogue shows them in the " children's" section, which mislead me at first. Don't be fooled, these are quite suitable for adults.

A excellent pair of head phones. The ability of folding enables them easily transported if not in use.

Really like these headphones - my first over-ear ones as I usually have in-ear. Took a bit of getting used to wearing and they can hurt your outer ear a bit if worn for a long time (couple of hours). Sound is really good, I don't have to have my music turned up as loud as I did with the in-ear to still be able to hear it well. Great for commute as although non noise-cancelling, they do a pretty good job of blocking out outside noise anyway!

Great sound, looks good and is compact so can easily be folded up into your bag! Bought for a plane journey so didn’t want to spend a fortune- which I didn’t and worked very well. Definitely recommend .

These come highly recommended, my other son has a pair and they have lasted him over 2 years of constant use.

Decent pair of headphones which look lovely. The ear pad folding mechanism seems to work quite well and they fold into a nice small package. There are a few drawbacks however. The speaker drivers have been calibrated to seriously increase the bass of the audio. For me this doesn't sound particularly good, but you get used to it. They also tend to hurt my ears after prolonged use, even with the movable headband.

I already had a set of these headphones which I love and have used for many years now until they were falling apart. When it came to buying a new pair I went for the same style although they have changed slightly. I like the fact that they have changed the material on the ear parts as it was coming off my old set but this new material looks like that won't happen. I'm really happy with my purchase and love using them. They're bright and comfy and the sound levels are good.

I am happy with this headset. I would have given 5 stars for comfort but they're not quite as comfortable as I would have liked, I think the sponge on the ear pieces could have been a little thicker. Ive bought them ready for my holiday to the US , it being a nearly 10hr flight. I have been using them to see how they feel to watch a film on my tablet, which I will also be taking with me,and after 2-3 hrs have started to hurt slightly.

The sound quality is excellent (good frequency response of 10 Hz - 24 kHz) and the headphones are comfortable. The ability to fold up is a "plus". A small negative point, probably to be expected at such a reasonable price and presumably due to the design and construction, is that occasionally there are (physical) clicky/scratchy/creaky noises. I might not have noticed them but the first, faulty, pair was very bad on the right side - returned them and the replacement is considerably better.

These are perfect for just being around the house and listening to...whatever you listen to. The cable is a bit long and when I bend over it gets caught either on my knee or on the table corner, for example, so it is advisable to wear the cable inside your shirt and the remainder tucked into your pocket with whatever device you are using. All in all the sound is pretty good although I would prefer a bit more treble for clarity. Price vs performance, these are amazing for what I paid.

Second pair purchased for my son. He uses them everyday and the first pair had stopped working (after about a year and a lot of misuse!!) Excellent price, good quality and very durable. Will be upgrading to a wireless pair but will still use these for audio books. Good price, quality and style. Very pleased.

Purchased as a replacement for an identical (well worn) pair for my 12 year old. My daughter reports they are comfortable, she can easily adjust them to fit and the sound is great. These are used, dropped, throw on the side everyday and easily stand up to the daily life of a 12 year old. Great, well priced product.
