I've been using this model for years. The clarity and true representation is never disappointing. I have a pair that I've had for almost 15 years and they still perform beautifully. I'm a very picky vocalist and have never found anything that sounds this good for the price.

Good to use for professional stuff, but I have trouble using it for some everyday things like my TV or laptop. I start getting interference in the sound some how but when I use it with my recording equipment it's great.

Sony MDR-7506 are a reliable reference for professional audio monitoring. I've been using them in my studio both in the control room and recording booth for years, and have added new sets to the ones that keep on delivering. I have come to count on their consistency and accuracy, and know that other professionals can count on their results as well.

Very surprised how good these sound. Clear highs and mids. Even decent lows. The cable is a bit long for hand held camera work. I have a Sony FS7, and the muffs bang against the camera body. But when on sticks or in studio, no issue.

After trying few headphones, that model was way above all, tried few music categories and the sound of that headphones is superb. The only thing is I wish it had a 3.5 socket so I can easily use it with a smartphone + case but the sound quality worth it.

Very clean sound. not much bass as what I'm used to for listening to music, but great for monitoring and audio/video work. Nicely designed too although my ears are a little big to fit completely comfortably

I bought the MDR - 7506 to use in conjunction with the Waves plug-in "Ocean Way Nashville," an emulation of of a state-of-the-art control room environment. The 7506 was one of the more affordable options that OWN recommended. My mixes have improved 100%! Thank you, B&H.

The industry standard. On my head for four years now, use them every day. I did have to replace the earpads after a few months they got too tight, but an amazon pair did the job now they're super comfortable.

Wore out my old Sony headphones after many years in the field replaced. I use these exclusively for video production. Excellent sound and range. Not too bassy and not too trebly..perfect. And a great value.

Good Bass, Highs not too bright, nice long coiled cord that has lasted. Left ear decal gone, inner headband a little discolored (skin lotion on bald dome). I've been through three sets of Auray cushions...my favorite - natural leather.

These are the film industry standard for a reason: they are fantastic. The 7506's are hands down the best phone dollar for dollar. You can spend more and get better, but it's going to be a lot more and almost certainly not worth it.

I use them for my everyday work. Highly recommend going with these super nice quality headphones. The only small complaint I have with them is that they're not as comfortable I thought it'd be but the sound quality makes up for it! I really enjoy the sound quality. 10/10.

Everyone loves this headset, which has been around for quite a while. Great sound. I'd give them five stars if they did a better job of excluding other, unwanted ambient sound--they do a pretty decent job, but of course are not designed for that

I use this product when listening to the music I am recording and mixing. They're great considering I don't have a lot of money to spend as an independent artist. The higher frequencies, however, are a little high in the mix. It's something to keep in mind.

I've used these headphones for more then 20 years. Their frequency response to highs and lows are perfect. And that's why its great for studio applications. Also use it onsite for weddings. I think I've gone through like 5 or so but keep on coming back to the same model.

We use these headphones for field recording. This means a lot of handling, in & out of the pouch and exposure to the elements. They hold up well and sound great. These were recommended by a radio journalist and are used widely.

Sony released a couple new models to surpass the quality of the 7506, and reviews have been lukewarm. At $ these are a bargain and are far better than any $300 Beats headset. They are still the standard with most of us pro film sound recordists.

This is my first step into production-quality headphones and I'm not sure why I waited so long. They sound crisp and clean and collapse to a convenient size. I bought a $10 Sentey case online and can now safely toss them in my backpack when traveling to shoots.

Bought these for the occasion production audio gig. They are an industry staple and are great for field work. Only gave them 4 stars because of the small wires exposed by the earcups seem like a potential weak point/snagging hazard.
