for my Sony AX100, plug and play, no battery no wire needed, better sound, very sensitive, I can hear the noise when zooming.

This little gem works nicely attached to my RX100 VII Sony camera via a bracket. It's recording ability is excellent.

The Sony ECM-XYST1M Stereo Microphone easily fit my Sony Handycam HDR-CX900. There was a big improvement in recorded audio over the internal multidirectional microphone. The audio is clearer with a higher signal to noise ratio. I would recommend this product.

Picked this up to use on my A6000 for both sermon messages and wedding shoots. It it very well made and provided a much high and clearer audio quality over the onboard microphone of the camera. Highly recommend this microphone for anyone who is wanting a boost in the sound of their A6000

I use this mic with my Sony FDR-AX33 and it does improve sound recording, mostly because of the 120 degree adjustment, allowing it to record better stereo sounds. It does disable manual control in the camera but there is a switch to switch between normal and low cut recording.

While this is a bit pricey, the sound is good and you can point the two mics outward or straight ahead. They are linked together so symmetry is maintained. I'd say for serious video well worth the money.

This product is only marginally better than the built in mic on my a99, and it is not worth the effort it takes to use it. I am going to look for another mic.

This mic is great for the Sony Alpha 3000. It really improves the sound quality from the internal mic.

This Mic works perfect for me. I was worried it would not pick me up good since I am behind the camera but it does. It picks up my voice really nice and super clean. It actually sounds better than the external mic I was using. I highly recommend this Mic for video recording.

I have a sailboat and if I want you shoot some video with my camera there is always some, or a lot, of wind noise. It's no longer sailing season, but I checked out this external mic on a windy day. It worked very nicely! I'm glad I purchased it from B&H Photo. : - )

We've already used the mic a few times with my a6000. It gives good, clean sound. Mic came with a inexpensive, but effective deadcat included, so the outdoor project was hiss free.

Fits camera that does not have an external microphone and it actually works well. Swivel apart to get great stereo sound, and has a jack for a serious external microphone.

Great microphone. Works very well. I am pleased. Somewhat hard to get onto the Sony a X 100. But after putting on a few times it got a little easier to do. Thank you -Scott

This thing is so convenient or portable. It works well with a gimbal because it's weight and size. The quality is ok but good enough where you can fix it in post.

For the price this is a great piece of equipment. Worth it, if you don't have a port on your camera then you won't be able to adjust the settings manually, but it works well on auto

Needed a small, hot shoe stereo mic for recording some outdoor concerts with the Sony FDR-AX700... mic works great, but had to get a more robust dead cat...otherwise great unit!

I bought this to use in the A7Siii hot shoe when the rig is on a gimbal. I use bigger mics when I shooting off a tripod but this mic is light and a lot better than the camera's internal mics.

Very good sensitivity across a soccer field and wind-noise reduction. Cut-off feature helps. I have a Sony PJ790v.
