Great sound, reasonable price. Having to wire someone up adds time to the shoot but you are free from all of the potential complications from a wireless lav. Love it.

For the price I am able to pick up pretty solid sound. It does pickup a decent amount of background noise but overall I am very satisfied with this mic for use during interviews.

This was the first mic I bought back in 2004. It works great for the price. The only reason I had to replace it was because a battery corroded inside.
