If you like the vintage look and get used to not hand-hold the microphone, you'd like this one. The kit stand is very nice and elegant. the kit micro phone cable does not come with the 1/4-in plug-in adapter-connector (Hosa 2' cable #HOPMXF2,$5.95). You would have to order it separately.

I like the vintage out look make me remember Elvis Presley . The sound is awesome . It's heavy so I had to buy the round base stand to hold it.

Sounds, looks, and IS iconic. Be aware that his is an original recipe mic, best used on stage or when that vintage sound is wanted in the studio.

I have a very rough voice, and sing pretty aggressively when I am jazzed up. This mic takes to it so nicely. It has a really nice analog saturated sound when using it live. Absolutely worth it!

This is a SOLID microphone for the money. Great sound, great look, great feel, and durable. If you are looking for a microphone that will last a long time, and look and sound amazing this is it.

Perfect, quite mic. Requires fair amount of gain control (increase) in live format using a DAW. Far superior to a "hot" mic.

Great classic looking microphone with a clean sound. Plosives can still be a bit of an issue if you don't know how to work around them, but overall it's a great microphone.

This is one of the best microphones I've ever sang into. No feedback and plenty of space to move without losing the degree of sound. I highly recommend it. Retro look is a plus too. Great buy.

Love the Super 55! I use it over mics provided as part of the back line when we have played bigger venues. Definitely worth every penny and then some!

Sounds just as good as my Shure 58 beta for lead vocals in a rock/blues band. The vintage vibe always gets compliments. Love it!!!

This mic is great. Looks as good as it sounds. Very responsive and I really like having a large target to aim for since I tend to move around a lot on stage.
