While this system is very compact, the system provides a small foot print, but superior audio quality and control of the microphone. Supreme audio with used with an iPhone, for WebEx and related video conference. In this age of distance learning, and working at home employment this microphone is perfect then place close to the person who is speaking. Great presence, and great sensitivity.

Was looking for something for recording trumpet practice sessions and the occasional song or two without having to pull out and set up some nicer equipment with the computer. This plugs into my Google Pixel 5 with USB-C, then you use the Shure mic app to set your settings on the microphone. I turn the gain down a bit from default as I'm recording trumpet, but it works out pretty nice, and I could potentially take it anywhere.

I didn't realize that the ridged edge unscrews to reveal the square piece that slides into the top of the camera mount. I thought they were one piece and sent it back. lol. After I learned that, it's awesome. Great sound for personal recording, video blogs, live feed music, or interviews. It has a very clear sound, and the attachment that holds the phone is EPIC. Just a very necessary device overall. If you are a beginner, this is a must have, if you are a pro it's a must have. Very functional and efficient use. Thanks Shure & B&H!

As a musician I was struggling with getting good audio on live streams. This microphone and it's included software give you a whole lot of control over your sound. Mic gain, control over the stereo field, compression and EQ. It's a real game changer in a super easy to use package.

The MV88+ is a very nice mic. The clip holds my iPhone (in its protective case) securely in either portrait or landscape position. The MOTIV app has worked very well. Haven't used the small tripod yet (using a large one), but it seems very solid. Have been using the kit to quickly and easily record music videos for social media and have achieved good quality - without having to mess with multiple mics and a more complicated interface.

Microphone set is nice. Clip is made out of plastic. The mic is very sensitive to wind noise I suggest you purchase the wind screen. Keep in mind there is a direct connection to the Cell phone (no shock absorption) so handling noise may transfer to the microphone. I find the price tag a little high.

The hardware itself was well made, the problem came from the app that is downloaded to the phone. The app constantly had to be forced closed and the mic repeatedly dropped out and reverted to the phones internal mic. Audio would record in when using the audio only function, however audio would record while using the video app. At the time of my purchase the it had been three months since the app had been updated. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro.

I'm not that into video recording but wanted to improve the audio quality on my videos. This kit provides a noticeable improvement over the built in microphone on an iPhone 13 Pro. I did have to remove my phone case to use the supplied lighting cable, which is somewhat inconvenient, but I could presumably use a different lighting to micro USB cable with a smaller collar.

Compact, light, works very well with my iPhone 11 Pro. The only thing I would improve is the phone attachment - you have to really screw it on tight to make sure of a snug fit. Otherwise this is a great economical mic, good quality sound, easy to use, a real no-brainer. Comes with its own wrap case so you can tidy all the cords and accessories.

I bought this kit to allow me to record music (& videos) on my iPhone while using the music app on my iPad. The iPhone clip works very well and the Shure microphone is fabulous. I was having difficulty with the iPad microphone, this solved it very well.

I have and used the original MV88. It was a great mic but limited in some simple ways. The MV88+ adds some nice functionality with the bracket and mount, but especially the ability to monitor with headphones. Key.

Very disappointing. Mic does not perform any better than the built-in iPhone mic. The phone holder does not hold the phone securely. The mini tripod does its job.
