This mike kicks ass!! It is strong and concise no more coming home hoarse at night. The Phantom power puts my vocals right in the pocket once I learned to adjust the flat face screen it was incredible

The Beta 87A is a great mic....it's clear, crisp and powerful. You do need either a phantom power supply or a powered board, but it is worth the effort. Highly recommended.
