I do documentary, so I set up my gear as mobile as possible, but also need great quality. This shotgun mic gives great audio result in a tiny package!

Motor noise overwhelming in sensitive mode and evident in normal mode in tests on Sony cameras Nice size. Maybe OK on a camcorder with a silent motor. Also picked up ambient noise very near the camera. Needs an on-off light.

This item is essential when recording video on HDSLR cameras. Perfect size and sound quality. It really needs the windmuff accessory.

very compact directional mic for mini RC plug-in. Great shotgun mic for use with compact camera when you need more directional sound. Use it if you are interviewing some one, use the built in mic if you want full room sound.

I've only used this mic a few times. I love its small size and how easily it fits on my Canon XA-10 camera. The sound quality is overmodulated on the videos I've done so far but that might be operator error as I'm kind of new to the set-up. Overall, I would recommend it.

I use this with my Canon 7D for sit-down interviews and the sound is great. the only drawback is that the mic plate etc. are all plastic and I am extremely careful with it as it seems sort of fragile in that way. Definitely buy a good case for this!

This mic is TINY!!! It is not even 1/4th the size of my RODE VideoMic. Plus, not picking up a lot of wiggle noises from the shock mount means more RUN AND GUN filmmaking. It runs on one tiny little AAA battery. Love it!!!

Compact, solid but light weight. I am not a pro but I'm very happy with the sound quality for my purposes -YT videos often shot outdoors.

I purchased this microphone for use on a small MiniDV camcorder that had a built in microphone. This mic eliminated the camera noise from being recorded to tape while providing clean, clear, stereo sound. It is small, lightweight, and simple to use.

5 years with this MIC without any problem. I already use it with Canon 5D Mark3 and now I use it with Gopro Hero 6. I can say that its good Mic but not perfect.

I used Sennheiser mics many years ago with great success, and I am very pleased with this current version of a top quality, short shotgun.

this thing is great for avoiding the pro look and getting anywhere to shoot. its no substitute for serious audio, but I think its the best small hotshoe mounted mic for small camcorders like my HV-20 its so good, I lost mine on a (photo) shoot, and I bought another one right away to replace it

Perfect mic to add great sound to a DSLR ( in my case a Nikon D7000). I added the wind cover and XLR adapter so it would connect to the Beachtek DXA unit and it works great.

I film outdoor hunts and I was wanting a shotugn mic for my secondary camera that I use for second angles and when traveling and such. This little baby will talk the talk for sure. Awesome mic and I love it. This mic completes my setup with my backup camera to go along with my big camera.

Works as advertised. Good sound. Very compact. Great battery life. Wind sock doesn't fit too snugly though.

This is a great buy. Use it for shooting in the field at events. Not as directional as I thought it would be.

Just got it and is good, but looks like a Toy from ToysRus. Sounds good ,the only problem is that it came with out any protective box or something that you can put it safe.

it has great sound, but it has one major flaw. When slowing down video speed, a high pitch sound is caught in the mic and i have yet to find a solution to this issue.

Excellent for running and gunnin' type of shooting. Size doesn't get in your way and fits in my backpack.
