Gives fantastic clear audio for the documentary film I'm shooting. Does a great job cutting down on surrounding noise. I haven't found anything I dislike about this product.

Constant crrosion issues with the K6

I've lived in Thailand and Cambodia for the past decade and it is a tad humid here, but I've had constant corrosion issues with the K6. Twice, I had to send it in to Sennheiser to be overhauled and both times, within six months, the problem returned. I then bought a backup ME66 and encountered the same problem. I would give up entirely on the K6 if I didn't also use and like the ME64. But my confidence in it is so low in the product now that I've bought a Rode NTG-2 as backup. fyi- I also wonder why the ME66 is more expensive than if you buy the two parts separately. ... More

This is a great shotgun mic. Coming from using the on board mic on my XL-2 and XH-A1 to using this the sound is monumentally better; clear and clean. Worth every penny.

Great quality and price. I shoot plays and operas and use 2 ME66 as a stereo pair. With one K6 power supply I can use a ME66 or ME67.
