This is the best mic I have ever used for a video shoot. It has a fantastic dynamic range & really gives you professional control of your audio. I am using it for interviews & on-location shoots. The ME66 far outperforms even the best lapel mics on the market.

I have used this mic in many environments, and have never been dissapointed with the quality. The ME66 always produces audible speach and it picks up many other sounds quite well. I haven't found a shotgun mic that sounds better under the $500 price range.

Great mic I have 2 and they are the work horses of my boom Kit. Used for Documentary, shorts, and features for years without incident. Would recomend the K6 Module over the K6P... K6p audio is noticably quieter through the mixer.

I use the microphone on professional independent film sets. It is easy to use, reliable, inexpensive and provides excellent audio quality. I'm very satisfied with the sound I am able to get and surprised that it's so affordable. I have no negative criticism, only positive comments for this product.

Not an audio pro, but so far this is doing what I want. (I do a lot of interviews where people are coming and going so using this as boom mic speeds up set up process. It is very sensitive, and allows me to drop the gain significantly on my camera and still picks up a strong signal.

Haven't owned this product for long, but so far so good. Picks up omni directional sound and works good with the Zoom 4HN. Get the best use out of this mic by recording under controlled conditions.

Good solid boom mic, great sound. Use this for interviews and studio shots with either an operator or on a stand and no complaints.

It works and has minimal chatter. Decent directional mic. A great go to mic for nearly every situation. Not the best all around sound quality, but is a maverick in this price range.

Should have purchased this years ago. This mic records flawlessly. Clear and clean - just perfect. Highly recommend it. The only issue is that the battery contacts are opposite from typical setups.

I was hoping for a bit more isolation, but it is a far superior to the VideoMic Pro.

I use this on a canon 5 mark2, on the hot shoe. It is a great mike, but the audio on the camera is inferior. I wonder why. The mike, picks up a little too much ambient noise, but it has a good tone.

I use the ME66 as an on camera mic for run & gun situations. The directional aspect & crisp sound make it great value for the money. Just make sure you get a solid shock mount and cover it with a good softie.

We own four of these shotgun mics and have produced over three thousand on the water sporting events with them without ever a hitch. Perfect, the best piece of audio gear we own.

Purchased this mircrophone with the intention of using it for documentary field production. It's dependable, reliable and delivers excellent results. Not the tone of a 416, but does the job.
