I bought this as an upgrade from the step-down version. This one is clearer, has more headroom, and better frequency response.

I'm playing a Gretsch modified G5120 through a small group of pedals to a tube amp. The e 906 picks up from the amp into the church PA system. The amp doubles as my monitor.

It is the absolute best guitar mic. It's super transparent and gives a great representation of your actual tone. I garuntee you'll notice a difference the moment you throw this monster on your amp

Great on guitars but I also use it as a bottom snare mic sometimes. Great to use to get different sounds.

I've been using SM57's forever and decided to give these a try based on a GC sales guys recommendation. I like that I don't need a mic stand with these and it seemed to sound/work great at our gigs.

This mic is loud, as if it has a pre-amp. Loud and clear. Beats the hell out of my $900 old schlong-long Sennheiser model.

Great guitar cab mic. Like it much better than the 609. Good in pairs or solo. Also good combined with the 609 or 57 for that wide fat stereo phase field action.
