I've been using SM57's forever and decided to give these a try based on a GC sales guys recommendation. I like that I don't need a mic stand with these and it seemed to sound/work great at our gigs.

Great guitar cab mic. Like it much better than the 609. Good in pairs or solo. Also good combined with the 609 or 57 for that wide fat stereo phase field action.
