Goes on sale regularly. The ear pads are replaceable and affordable. If you use these every day for a year, the ear pad leather will probably start to break apart and shed little pieces of the material everywhere, including on you. I recommend grabbing replacements either right away or as soon as you start to see it wear down.

I got this for $100 from B&H. I'm not too much of an audio guy, but for listening to music it's pretty good. I do feel however there's something missing in the midrange level so as far as mixing audio, these probably won't cut it.

Very well made, sounds great , very comfortable, would put them up against almost anything in this price range, this is the third pair I purchased. I run about 5 sets of head phones in my studio at times. very satisfied.

I was blown away by the listening experience granted by these headphones, to the point where I've spent hours listening to wide swaths of my music collection. Though I'm someone who hasn't owned a pair of headphones of this tier before, I am overwhelmingly happy with my purchase.

After minimal use, the connections have worn out and audio constantly drops in and out. Seriously, these barely get used and they perform like headphones that are totally worn out. Would not buy again.

These headphones sound nearly ideal with my Onkyo DP-S1 - very neutral with no over inflated base. Comfortable to wear and good passive noise blockage. Liked the first one so much I bought another as a backup - great deal when on sale!

I work in the broadcasting field and loved these headphones. However that being said already into my second pair in only a few months. Both pair of headphones have one side cutting out. It appears the connection where the mini plug to the connects to the head phones doesn't hold up. Very poor design. The first pair i thought I would give it the benefit of a doubt, but now after the second pair and same issue ... forget it.

I like them and they do what I want. That said, fist point, the cords are proprietary at the headphone end. Side note the 10' coiled cord is very nice to have. Second point, they are not too heavy but they also aren't light. Third point, sound is good but not great. They are fine for what I baught them for, editing on my laptop without bugging the people around me.

These are so-so headphones, and not worth the full price. For $60 they're barely passable for TV, which is why I bought them. My Sennheisers are open-backed and I needed something with more isolation. They're comfortable and lightweight, which should help for longer viewing sessions.

These are great until you turn your head and a channel cuts out. I returned the first pair for this and the replacements do the same thing. I happens with the coiled and straight cables so I assume it has something to do with the connection itself.

These sounds great and have a great seal, but the wire sometimes distorts the audio with the slightest touch or movement.

My 4th pair of headphone monitors in 14 years and I think that these are the best in terms of sound quality and price. These are meant for in-studio use but I like them so much that I use them in the field, also!

Like many others have stated, these headphones have had issues with the wiring on the inside. You're better off with the standard Sony headphones that every audio professional has. They trust them for a reason.

I bought 6 of these for my campus radio station. The headphones are great in sound quality, but the cords all failed in a very short amount of time. Very disappointed with that. First the spiral cords, then the straight ones.

I bought these on sale as they had decent reviews and needed another set to use for video editing ...i had been using my $35 Monster Ntunes before that. These have decent sound but it lacks the bass and sound mass of other comparably priced headphones. I kept mine but wish I didn't

I got these on sale at B&H. They were an excellent purchase for the price. Even at full price, these would be good. Good sound and very comfortable.

Good quality sound and I like the fact that you can switch up from just monitors to headsets for the phone but people have said they have a hard time sometimes saying the phone calls are distorted. Also, with the headset wire, the connector to the phone is just slightly too thick to fit into some phone cases.

For $70 on sale, worth every cent. Great bass and nice sounding. I use them for monitoring voice recording in video production. I do not know if they are accurate for music production. Very comfortable ear cups. Semi-isolation. Comes with a coiled cord and an uncoiled cord. And a bag. Nice product.

I got these on the Deal Zone, I have the Senal 500s and the 1000s, but the 1200s are by far my favorite. The ear cushions are very comfortable, the sound quality is clear and full. I use them for audio and video editing and for listening to music as well, good stuff!
