Sony MDR-7506 are the headphones I've been using for almost 20 years now, but the Senal SMH-1000 headphones come pretty close at a much better price. I also like the fact that the cord is removable, which makes things more compact when packing up for a location shoot.
low end not so good

we bought the headphones for monitoring live sound and recorded sound at our church and these just don't pick up the low end of the keys and bass as nicely as i would've thought they would have. for the price though they're very good

Limited use so far, but I will be using them with a zoom recorder hooked into a DSLR. First impression: Very good clear sound and they seem well-made. I expect they will hold up well. I'm glad I bought them.

While these were good while they lasted, the cable connector is the weak point and after a few months of using them, the audio begins to cut in and out. These are clearly copies of the Sony mdr-7506 which I also own and despite the fixed cable on those, they haven't skipped a beat in over 3 years. Do yourself a favour and don't cheap out on these.

My use for the SMH-1000 Senal Headphones is at my field production. They are comfortable, adjustable, and sound fairly neutral. The detachable cable is very Comfort Thay gives me clear sound over entire frequency range with no boost enhancement. I would recommend this product

I bought these headphones to use with my Nikon D4 for recording movie files. I'm sure audiophiles will tell you there is something better out there, but all I need is verification that the sound is clean going into my camera. For that purpose, these work just fine.

Bought this headphones on sale. I compared them to my beloved Sony MDR-V6. Both are physicaly similar. Sony has a slightly better sound for my taste.

I think they are providing the real sound when i'm recording. If i'm recording a low background noice like hiss or hum you will head it with no correction. This is what we are looking for in recording headphones.

These area awesome headphones. I use these for music playback and also for recording and listening to electric and acoustic guitar. Comfortable, excellent sound. The supplied cords work great and they fold into a nice package. I should have ordered 2 pairs !

I have many sets of headphones and also earbuds. I needed a new set and these came available at the right time. They sound fantastic however in my case I needed to buy the optional velour pads for a perfect fit. The standard ones are fine but for long periods the softer pads I recommend

Affordable and good quality kit - - very much enjoying these headphones for monitoring live sound and mixing at home. Sound volume is a little bit lower than some others I have used, but the quality is very good.

Nice headphones for my application. I do not wear them for long periods of time so I cannot share the long term comfort. The package deal with case, extra muffs and hanger made this a really good deal in my opinion. I have owned Sony's in the past and these are comparable. Happy with my purchase.

They work great. I love that it has a detachable cable with two different lengths. That's honestly the reason I got these instead of replacing them with the Sony's that I use to get. Sound quality is the same.
