Excellent quality sound for the price point. Would have been five stars if the case was large enough to hold the cable. A windscreen would be a real plus as well.

I use this mainly for conference calls and packaged slide narration. It works very well. My only minor disappointment was that the installation process caused it to be set as my default speakers (!) so my computer sound was off until I diagnosed the problem and reset my speaker assignments.

I am a podcaster for @ and am very satisfied with this mic.The broadcast is clear and I also love that the mic is small and portable. I am always on the go and this is perfect for when I go to conventions.

It's amazing how USB audio technology has improved, and the Go Mic is a perfect example. I'm not about to use it to record sound for a major motion picture, but it's fabulous when, during a road trip, someone desperately needs me to record a voiceover for a spot or a demo or an online presentation.

I travel quite a bit and use this for both VOIP calls via Skype and for calls using Microsoft communicator. The sound is clear, the mic is brain dead easy to use and looks great too. Dollar for dollar, it's the best bargain out there and packs up small in a provided case.

My computers sound driver stopped working and I needed an external Mic w driver for my zoom classes. This was the perfect product. Feels well built, transmits clear sound, and even has a meat clip to put on my laptop. I by totally back in business with this Mic. Would recommend.

I had this mic before back when I was in high school prolly around 17 or 18 years old making music writing and recording my own songs. I bought tons and tons of mics through out the years of highschool. For it's price and the software it comes with, I'll say it can have you sounding pretty decent. Especially if you have your mixing skills down. I found that using this mic it worked better with the Mixcraft 6 software for about around $$. I would buy a pop filter for this mic though. It sounds more clean with one. I found a way to use it, that worked for me years ago. And now I'm 21 in college working a 40 hr week job an I bought this mic agian today because, it's little things can bring you a long way. would give this mic 5 stars hands down. :) ... More
Good quality microphone, heavy

I was looking for a good quality travel microphone to use with speech recognition software. The pickup and accuracy of this microphone are just fine for that purpose. However, the court is 4 feet too long and the nature of the microphone will not let it clip onto a MacBook Pro. Therefore it meets to sit on the desk to the right side of the laptop instead of at the top center of the screen. Unnecessarily heavy.

I use it for Skype and screencasts. Things that are great about it: Compact and good quality. Things that aren't so great about it: Sometimes the usb cable and the headphones plugged can pull the mic to the side, moving it from its position. Other than that it's a great product for its price.

An especially good microphone when host needs to move around, like fitness and dance teachers. It picks both up music and voice clearly and is very affordable. Useful clamp. B&H is informative, on web site and in person, plus they ship right away and price is always lowest or competitive.

This is an amazing quality microphone for the price. Metal construction and extra long USB cable are a nice touch. I am using this for two people sitting around a laptop talking and it picks us both up perfectly.

Works well on my computer and tablet, but a little hollow sounding. Also, I love that it is built so well and has a nice, heavy feel in your hand. Nice clip and nice stand for table top. However, when I have the time and want better sound from my less than ideal office, I plug my Rode DSLR mic into the computer.

The mic comes in a neat protective pouch. Windows 10 and Nuance Dragon Professional immediately recognized it and put it to use. In fact, I'm using the mic with Dragon to write this review. It's the best mic I've ever had and is an ideal companion for Dragon.

I am fairly impressed with the sound quality it delivers. It obviously won't sound as good a high end condenser like a Neumann, but it is well worth it for the money.

We have an iMac that received a new SSD. The problem is that the SSD is slightly larger than the old hard drive, and the microphone hole is a little obscured. This external mic solved the problem

I use this microphone to record pieces I send to my guitar instructor. The mic on the computer distorts sound terribly, but the Samson mic provies clear, bright sound in conjuction with Audacity.
