This is the perfect system for my work camera. It is a quick setup and go. Basically all you need to do is connect the system to the camera and turn it on. The sound quality is excellent, but the feature that sold me on this system is the backup recording that is built into the system. The app is simple and easy to use and provides the functionality needed to get the job done.

I have had this system for two weeks now and it's everything I've ever wanted in a wireless setup and more. I feel like Rode really listened to their customers and delivered an affordable wireless mic system that is compatible with a variety of recording methods. The sound quality is crisp and clear and packs even more of a punch when you attach a lav to the transmitters.

I bought these specifically for the on board recording. This gives me a backup recording and I don't need to use my ZOOM H6 for most recordings now. I run this through my XT-4 bodies and I have a back up recording right away. The new firmware allows these to record without the receiver unit.

Just tried these out this weekend, and they exceeded expectations. I do wish there was an easier method to export all of the backups from the transceivers (as-is it's just one-by-one via the Rode Central app), but hopefully the software improves over time. There have already been a few big updates that made great improvements to the experience.

I got these as an easy way to record audio in a pinch. I found that the best settings are to have it always recording when on because if anything happens(signal drop, corrupted audio etc) you can go in and download the audio files from the transmitters. When you're ready for the next project just whip them and start over.

After ready a lot of reviews and watching videos these were hands down the mic system to go with for ease of use and recording of 2 subjects. I absolutely love the BACKUP audio each transmitter records, since we all know how gut wrenching losing any audio when you spent all day on a shoot would be. Setup was a cinch, and super easy to use!

I hate the term game changes because it's used way too often, but this item truly is that. The ability to have an internal recording, in the event of a dropout is what I have been waiting for, for 20 years! Plus, TWO transmitters, this small form factor, twice the range of the original Wireless Go, and this price, is crazy. There is nothing to think about. Just buy it.

One of the transmitters has a constant interference sound. Their customer support said that's just what happens with wifi. The mics peak/clip on their own, even when the receiver is set to lowest gain. The little wind muff reduces the sound quality considerably.

Amazing and necessary set of equipment for my YouTube video production. Been using this instead of my RDELink Filmmaker Kit. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the desktop app, RDE Central, hasn't been working consistently for me (Windows 10 PC). I'll try downloading the app on my husband's MacBook

Here is how small the Wireless GO II receiver is! I mounted it on my case which also has a variable ND Filter for the Samsung S21 Ultra. I sold over $2,500 in Lectrosonics gear to simplify and reduce the size of my kit. Even though I used Lectro gear for over 15 years i'm impressed with the RODE Wireless GO II. Highly highly recommend!!

I sold the Senns after getting these. There are times with the Senns are probably better, but for what I do day to day these are a MUCH better choice. An interview or conversation becomes 100% simpler. These have so many great features. They intimidate non-professionals less. I kept the Senn lavs, so if I want/need that sound I can still get it. Absolutely no complaints.

Love the concept of this mic, but you cannot rely on this product at all. I have successfully tested recording backups to the device multiple times at home, but both times while in the field, after double checking that the device was recording, I got home and had no backup track recorded on the device. Not sure what I am going to tell my client yet.

I wanted to record lav audio but didn't want to buy an external recorder or record through my camera so I purchased the Rode Wireless GO II and I'm extremely impressed with the recording quality. I've shot outdoors and In a busy restaurant and the audio was clear without much background noise. These are just as good as my Sennheiser but 75% cheaper.

Im familiar with Rode Products but I have to say B&H delivery was great. The buying process was simple and effective, they sent me a tracking number and package arrived in great condition. I would buy from B&H again without a doubt

I love that the transmitters record high quality audio. I'll be using it for interviews, recording acoustic music on stage, performances, and workshops. I wish there was more control over the input (reducing gain). Also, the connectivity to computer and iPhone is not easy. It requires specific brands of cords - Rode, Apple, etc.

I am loving these so far! Small and lightweight, long battery life, great audio quality. The internal recording and safety channel option has already come in handy doing a couple event coverage gigs where volumes can be very dynamic! I highly recommend!

I purchased these for a shoot where we were constantly moving and getting in and out of cars. I used them with and without the lav mics and they worked incredibly well both ways. They are simple to use and have a good range (although not as far as advertised). My only wish is that they had locking screw mounts for the lav mics. Other than that, they are the best addition to my rig in years!

Every now and then I get high pitch buzz because it is not compatible with my Zoom H4n. Really good product for the most part. I wish it would signal you that it's full before starting to delete files. Also sometimes the transmitter recorder gets out of sync with the recorder. Recording on cut and cutting on record.

Super happy with these. So far it has been the best setup for me when using my Ronin S. Other products have been too big and bulky to be able to use the Ronin. The built in mics are the greatest, but I paired them with the Senal UTM-86-35H lavaliers and it works amazing. Battery life so far has been fantastic as well.

These are simple to use and great for people who don't want to deal with complicated setups. Built in mic quality is surprisingly good considering what they are. I also purchased the Rode Lavalier microphones that plug in, there is only a mild quality boost. You primarily benefit from the ability to hide the mic.
