There is a problem with the 3.5mm Port. There seems to be an short with this device as I am only getting audio on one channel. I've tried using a different Connecting cable, Same error. B&H is yet to respond to any of my messages and emails

I had this mic on order when I decided to check with a B&H audio expert for advice. With my primary interest being filming an audition on a concert grand piano, I was directed to the Azden SMX-30, stereo mic as the better option. So this review is for that item and not the Rode shotgun microphone. The Azden has surpassed my expectations. It's fantastic!
