Tried on EOS T2, it was definitely better than the built-in mono mic. VideoMic Go On-Cam really makes better sound with stereo. However, I could not use the mic for my camcorder as the sound was so muted even after amplification on highest setting.

I use(d) it with my Canon 70D, and this mic is HORRIBLE. There's an awful screeching sound when the wind blows and it is UNUSABLE outside.
